I'm still at the gym 4-5 days a week right now.

I'm swimming about 1km a day... and on alternate weeks i'm doing yoga and weighted(8lb dumbells) uphill walking for about 5km.

All of that and somehow the weight is still packing on like thin is going out of style!! What is up with that ?? have I been sleepwalking to the store and gorging on junk food in the middle of the night with no memory of it in the morning??

Anyone else in the same boat? How are you all keeping the excessive weight gain down and under control??

Well, I am not exercising at all but I am not too worried about the weight. Your body will typically gain what it needs to and especially if you are eating healthy and exercising regularly. Since you've kept up on your exercise throughout the pregnancy, it will probably make it much easier for you to drop the weight and get back in shape fairly quickly after baby comes, so I would try not to worry too much about the weight gain, especially if you know you're doing all the right things.

I'm still doing about 12 miles a week, and the pounds do keep coming. But the good news is that you'll have a good fitness base AFTER baby to start back on, and that will help you shed the pounds more quickly. I didn't work out with DD and lost the weight in 6 weeks. I worked out, but not as much, with DS and with quite a bit of attention to diet and exercise I lost it all in 8 weeks. I'm 35, so I don't expect it to just fall off, so I'm keeping a good fitness base to help me out afterwards. And a food journal!

Ok .. I have officially dubbed you superwoman! How in the world do you have the energy for all that??? I am just amazed! I can't help but think any weight you are gaining after doing all that must just be weight the baby needs.

I just do my grocery shopping and feel like I have ran a marathon and need to sit down.
