Last time we used a bassinet, and we wanted to use the same one, but it turns out you can't take the fabric off to wash it! How ridiculous is that?? What if my daughter had puked on the side of it (you can wash the matress pad and that's it)? I'd have to buy a whole new one!

I can't find any other bassinet that I really like so I thought about just putting the crib together and using that from day one. I'd have it set up in our bedroom though.

I was just curious what others are planning on doing.

We have one of those in bed co-sleeper things but not sure we will use it because its made of metal and I would not get any sleep if I keep bumping into it, so I am trying to get DH to take it back! I want to get her a rock and play otherwise she may end up just sleeping in her crib and I will sleep in the room with her and Zoie for a while...

This is the bassinet we have that converts to a pack n play thing for when they are older. Haydon used this for the first few months, and so will she! It is pulled up right next to my bed, so when she falls asleep as I'm breastfeeding I can just lay her right back down and go back to sleep. I'de love to just fully bed-share with her, but with my two year old always crawling into bed with us while we are sleeping I don't want to risk her getting smothered by him accidently.

We are planning on having the twins in a pack n' play in our room at first. But they have their own room with their own cribs set up. We will see how it goes from there. Planning on letting them sleep together for a little bit.

I got the rock n play for her to use in our room (and around the house during the day) but she will likely cosleep, just like my boys did.

We are using a pack n play also. But ours doesn't have a bassinet or changing area attachment. I didn't see the point in spending the extra money. But I'm cheap most of the time.

We have a little bassinet and a rock n play sleeper, so we'll try them both out and see if she prefers one over the other. Then we can leave that one in our room for at night, and put the other one downstairs for her to nap in during the day.

We're bed sharing, but also have a co sleeper, bassinet and crib. Figure there's a good chance the babe will end up in a laundry basket or where ever he sleeps....

We have a co-sleeper, and also have a crib set up. I doubt he'll be using the crib much at the beginning but we'll get there... DS1 slept with me most of the time, but during the day he slept in the crib on occasion.

We'll be using a bassinet. The one that I used to have you were able to change everything on it. In fact we did. It was originally mine when I was a baby, and it had white material on it. I kept it white for Mike. Then with Tori, my mom made the blue jean teddy bedding for it. With Landen, we just had it done in green. I no longer have that bassinet, and have been having a hard time finding one that I like.
