It's a little early but here's a list of natural methods to bring on labor. Most of these things are things you might do anyways such as sex, walking, eating pineapple...I don't think they can hurt but help get things going a little maybe.
HAHA!! i was gonna post something like this..except mine was going to say keep getting up out of bed to pee..then try to get comfy..that will bring on contractions..lol!

Yes, I have heard the same about castor oil. Does not sound like fun.

"DO NOT DO THE CASTOR OIL, PLEASE!" Then he proceeded to explain how a patient during his residency had taken castor oil and thought she was in labor. He went to check her and well, let's say he was fortunate he was wearing glasses then. lol She made a nasty all over him and his clothes and oops, she didn't have the baby for several days later! He said that was probably the worst of all his labor & delivery experiences (involving live births, that is).
He also told me that castor oil can cause very intense bowel contractions that often get mistaken for uterine contractions. He says there are times where it might stimulate uterine contractions, but that really if the baby isn't ready, there's nothing you can do to make him/her come out. He feels it's more cooincidental that some women do actually go into labor (more likely they were going to anyway), than scientific.
I can't say for sure if his opinion is biased, lol, because of what happened to him but I sure won't question it, lol lol lol .

with anything you should consult your provider. I did castor oil with baby #1, with the direction of my midwife, don't go about things all crazy and you'll be fine
