they hoook you up to the monitors (contraction and heart rate) and you lay there.
You'll have a clicker, and each time you feel baby move you press the button, that marks on the out put babies movement.
what they are looking for is how babies heart rate changes with movements and non-movements by them. does it go up and down as it should. and not stay up, or not go up.
usually lasts about an hour? give or take depending how active baby is.
