I am getting really sick of it.
I gave birth 4 weeks ago and it seems to taper off and turn brownish pink..then it will start up with the red again..I feel like its never going to go away. I HATE pads with a passion and really want it to go away already. I figured I would be spotting by now but this is really annoying and more than spotting.
Anyone else still bleeding beyond what you thought it would?

I haven't had much in the last week, and none today. Hope this is the end of it but I expected it to last longer.

I bled the full six weeks with my first...everytime I thought it was over, it would start back up again. I noticed if i did to much I would bleed more...like my body telling me to slow down.

This time I am 3weeks out and its pretty light almost spotting. I thought I would bleed more with running and going back to the gym but its stayed the same....

I've stopped and just had brown discharge, except when I do any sort of exercise then I'm back to bleeding for like 2 days. Its getting old though and my skin is really getting irritated from using a pad so much. My periods are only 2 days so I'm really not used to using pads like this.

The part that's really annoying is the stopping and starting of the bleeding especially I don't remember this with my other 2. I hope it goes away soon..

I got pretty lucky with bleeding. I only really bled for a week and a half then I went to spotting for about a week and since then I've just had discharge (I'll be 5 weeks PP Wednesday).

Hoping you all finishing up your bleeding soon!

Mine will taper off and then start back up again if I do too much, like walk or clean a whole lot. I noticed this more during my first week postpartum. I'm almost 3 weeks pp; I bled with DD for 3-4 weeks so I'm hoping I'll stop soon, now.

I could have written your post! My pattern is exactly the same and I will be 4 weeks PP tomorrow. I had a section like with DD and with her I only bled a couple weeks but AF. Returned at exactly 4 weeks. Ugh!

I'm not quite 2 weeks pp and my bleeding seems to be slowing a lot... I'm hoping it only lasts a couple more weeks but with my 2 ds's I bled for a full 6 weeks after.
This time I used shepherd's purse tincture immediately post partum and it seems to have made my bleeding less in general... (I'm also taking my placenta capsules which is supposed to help with pp bleeding as well...)

I'll see what happens I guess...
