It was different with each of my previous pregnancies. "Things" were SO much BETTER after having my first, and I think we only waited 4 weeks. With my second I had severe hormone issues and tried for months to dtd, but at 4 months PP ended up on estrogen cream because it was so painful I was in tears everytime. It was almost as bad with my third, hormone wise. We'll see how this time goes. I'm not even 2 weeks out and still bleeding so I have a bit till we try.

Yes we have. I was nervous. We waited 3 weeks. I had no problems during delivery and feel fine. It was okay...It would have been better if I wasn't so nervous. THe second time was better.

I'm really nervous because of the bad tearing. I actually saw my dr today and had pap + internal exam....i was shaking I was so afraid. Surprisingly, it didn't hurt at all! - usually it will hurt a bit and I actually can get sore from an exam... .
Pretty sure DH and I will attempt to dtd very soon. As much as I am nervous, I'm kind of excited to see if it will be better and pain and tear free from now on. We have done other things... and it has definitely been better

Haven't tried yet. I'm thinking about it. With ny first I waited three and a half four weeks...this Thursday will be three weeks. I just don't know...I have this fear of infection...not so much pain. Hubby isn't pressuring me at all which is surprising....but we shall see.

Yes we have. It hurt like a witch... not the word I would like to use, but ya know!
We waited 4 weeks and I thought since I had a c-section it wouldnt hurt. OMFG, I was wrong! I actually ended up in tears! We've dtd a few times since then and it still hurts, but not as bad.

Yes, we waited about 4 weeks and it was pretty normal though I am a little drier than usual. I figure since I ended up with a c-section, it didn't mess with things as much as if they had actually gotten their butts out the normal way. It is definitely harder to find time though, and we have gotten interrupted by babies all but one time I think.

With a c/s its not so much the actual "deed" that hurts, its the "o" which contracts your uterus that is still healing. So...no, haven't and probably won't until i'm 6-8wks pp....whenever i no longer have any pain.

We did yesterday, at 6 weeks. I waited the full 6 weeks. I like to make sure the doc says everything is okay and healed, and she did. It was actually better than before, but I don't know if that's because I got so used to the HORRIBLE pregnancy sex.

No. But since we're still in separate countries, that's not all that surprising. I'll be taking Liam to see his daddy once we get his passport in, though, so... presumably we'll be having sex then at some point.
I'm a little nervous about it, mostly because DH is, uh, how do I put this delicately? Well-endowed? Yeah, let's go with that. Anyway, so it was always a little iffy before, and since I had to have stitches... I'm just worried it won't be so fun.

Nope. I'm still bleeding. And...totally exhausted being up all night with adam and all day with both him and my 2 year old. All I want to do when there is a free milisecond (which is never) is sleep.

We tried at 6 weeks 1 day. It felt normal but the kids were up and it didn't work out.

I won't even try until the bleeding has definitely stopped and Simon is sleeping more consistently. But that's not to say I don't want to. DH and I have been driving each other crazy since I was still in the hospital. You can cut the sexual tension with a knife.

No..it wasn't the O it was the actual penetration. I felt like I was being ripped apart! The O doesn't hurt, but I am bf'ing so I guess my uterus is used the the contax?

I love Beckie...I laughed good at your comment hun...she said H*ll NO!! I don't think I'm going to this time until my six weeks. My better mind is telling me to wait...not because the Dr. KNOWS EVERYTHING, but something is just telling me not to do it yet. and those mini pills the dr. gave me big joke I'm taking them all over the place... thats gonna prevent me from having another one.

OOps, sorry, meant to say thats how it is for ME...not to imply anything for you, sorry.
Altho, it does surprise me that penetration hurt you, hmmmm....
I've got a wacky, much-to-thin uterus, so who knows if what i feel is normal!?
