I think it was 4 for me with section....6 for vaginal. I didn't want to before that bc I thought recovery of section was worse so wasn't up to it before 4 weeks. I pushed it and went back to work 14 days later after section and they may have slowed my recovery since I don't work sitting at desk

Not until about 7 weeks. I was having a bit of a rougher recovery, though, and wasn't comfortable with it before then. Your body will let you know if it's ok

It was 5 weeks for me. I felt fine and could have done it before then if not for the pp bleeding. I bled for a full 4 weeks then had a discharge that was not my normal discharge for another week. Once that was gone, it was on!

I believe it was about 2 1/2 weeks we waited. My bleeding wasn't super heavy though and stopped fairly quickly. We just were really careful and slow so it wouldn't cause pain for my incision.

#2, we'll see but I'll wait the 6 weeks

I wait the 6 weeks. It may be because of the breastfeeding and exhaustion but I have never had any interest in DTD before 6 weeks. lol.

I always wait 6-8 weeks at least
I am not a big sex person anyways
so waiting isn't an issue

It was somewhere between 5-6 weeks PP. We went on vacation to FL exactly five weeks after the girls were born and were there for a week, and during that week we DTD for the first time. I was still lightly bleeding but we gave it a shot anyway. It was horribly painful (I had a rough recovery plus my ex-H was very, very well endowed) but once I got that first time out of the way it got better over the weeks that followed.

It will be longer for me this time. I really can't remember how long it was last time since it was 4.5 years ago now. I'm pretty sure it was more than the 6 weeks though.

I was told 6 weeks, but I wasn't up to it until 3 months PP & it was uncomfortable for a while afterwards. I didn't have a vaginal delivery but I did push for 2 hours so I'm not sure if that could've been the reason, but either way, it wasn't pleasant. I have no problems waiting either. Sex is usually the last thing on my mind anyway & then throw a newborn into the mix & I'd happily wait! lol
