I'm not sure if this is all pregnancy/labour related...but I thought I'd post to see if anyone is or has experienced some or any of this...
This week-end I have gotten wayy more uncomfortable. Normal for the last bit of pregnancy I know. But I was getting these pains which I think are really bad round ligiment pains (they bring tears to my eyes) and they are sharp, and feel like strong round ligiment pains, more so when I move around and walk more.
Then yesterday, I started getting really bad diarrhea, which I haven't had at all this pregnancy. I still have it today and have been getting cramping (which I think is the diarrhea). I'm a bit worried about how much diarrhea I'm getting, is this something I should tell my dr. about, or just drink a lot and not worry?? Sorry if it's TMI, but it's more like colored water than solids. Think is my Dh was getting some too, although he tends to be more prone to it when he gets stressed or eats something weird etc.
And then, after I was wiping after a pee, I found a stone like thing on the toilet paper, which I'm wondering if it was a kidney stone. I looked up stones online and it looked like a tiny little stone, a bit bigger than a grain of sand and really hard...but I'm not sure if it came from somewhere else ...or if it really is a stone. I didn't notice any bleeding at all though. I have never in my life experienced a kidney stone. So I'm not sure if some of this pain is that...or if a little pebble just got down there some how...LOL I didn't feel any pain when I peed if I passed it.
I've also been getting bouts of nausea off and on along with everything.
Anyways, off to bed for me....since I'm still not feeling the best. Thanks for reading.

honestly id save that little stone ... sounds gross but at least ask your doc if he wants to test it ... ive never had kidney stones or anything like this but i hear docs like you to keep them so they can examine or test them
id do that since youve never had one and have no idea what it is
as for the diarrhea .. i had that for i duno ... a week? something it was awhile ... but i just kinda kept with my life and it went away ... i ALWAYS think that if you find something odd you should just ask your doctor .. theres no harm in being sure.
that way if even another symptom comes they can put things together and help you out with w/e it is
i havent had any cramping so id mention that as well ... but it could be nothing ive heard other ladies have cramping and so .. could be normal ... but i say you never know and theres no harm in just making a phone call
Yup, I agree with saving the stone (if you still have it) and show it to your doc.
My round ligament pains have gotten so much worse lately. I rolled over in bed this morning and it was like a charlie horse in my belly, it hurt so bad Even just small movements will give them to me now and they stick around like a cramp and I just have to wait for it to go away. It might have to do with this being our 3rd pregnancies, they say everything loosens up more with each one.
My entire family just went through a stomach bug too, which was not fun. My girls and I had diarrhea for about a week and my DH seemed to get a touch of it too. I would keep hydrated and a take a probiotic daily to help get your system balanced back out. Sometimes it can mean your body is prepping for labor, but not always, so there's no way to know unless you actually go into labor.
Feel better soon mama! :hugs:

I hope you feel better soon. Sounds more like stomach bug than body prepping for labor (because of the wateriness aspect) and I'd definitely show the dr the stone.
Peaking in from the Sept. DDC. I had a kidney stone 9 years ago, but I remember it like it was yesterday. I woke up in the morning with this terrible pain on the right side of my back, right where your kidney is. I was due for AF so I thought it had something to do with that. I went to the bathroom with this terrible urge to pee but couldn't go, but I was able to have a bowel movement. The pain intensified quickly and I began to feel sick to my stomach so I went to the ER. They gave me something for the pain, I vomitted once and within 2 hours I had passed the stone. I didn't feel it pass because of the medicine they gave me but the stone was the size of a very small pebble. I felt no pain anywhere else but my back. I hope this helps. I would definetly save the stone and show it to your dr. GL!!
Thank you ladies so much.... I think I will call my dr. today just to see what they say. I am not in excruciating pain, and when I do get really bad cramps/pain, the really bad part only seems to last for 10 mins to an hour and it lets up for a bit.
unfortunately...dumb me I didn't save the stone. I have been having lots of pain, some in my lower back, but since this is my 3rd pregnancy, like Andrea said above, and my dr also told me I'll get more ligiment pains etc. So I wasn't thinking, oh I have something else wrong.
I am trying to drink a lot of water, and the diarrhea is still there, but becoming more solid. lol In my last 2 pregnancies I didn't get diarrhea before having the babies..so I am thinking it is just a stomach bug or something...but it sucks to have when you are this far along and sporting hemorrhoids LOL

I hope you feel better! I'd definitely put a call into the dr to be on the safe side. Could it have been part of your mucus plug or it didn't look like that? Hard to say. I know that women often get diarrhea before going into labor because the body is cleaning itself out in preparation for giving birth. I had that with Allie too.

Well at first I was wondering..but I don't think so. It was like a small pebble, and it was an amber color, there was some more whitish hard stuff that broke off when I squeezed it.
I just put a call into my dr. to see if I should come in at all or just wait til my appt on Thurs. So I'll update and let you all know.
