Allison's just fell off and is bleeding a little. I seem to remember the others' doing that too, so I'm going to say it can be normal. Just watch it and make sure it doesn't get red/inflamed or *****.

A little bit is fine. Just make sure to clean it up after and keep it dry.

Lew's fell off about two weeks ago and he still bleeds a little from time to time. He bled before it fell off a bit, too. I agree that it is normal, but just keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't get inflamed, red, or infected looking.

Coltons did that too, I cleaned it out really good with an alcohol swab when it had dried blood in it and oozed once, then I just sponge bathed him until it was fully healed.

a little bleeding is fine. you can use some alcohol ot clean off the goop. if there is a spot of where it's not healed/skin after a few days/week the pedi can use some silver nitrate to fix it right up

The outside part of Hannah's came off last night, but the rest is still in her belly button...guess that can be normal? With my other kids, the cord fell off to a clean belly button. Glad part of it fell off last night, because it was really starting to smell
