Do you swaddle your baby? If so, do you use a special blanket?

No, but mostly because I don't know how I've just never been good at it, and neither of my kids has seemed to prefer it, so I just never learned. I do tuck a receiving blanket around her legs to make her feel snug, but if anything's around her hands she flails around until they're unstuck haha

I usually swaddle with a receiving blanket.. However Cole hates it! He will have it all undone in no time. He especailly hates having his hands covered.

Maddie likes to be swaddled, I usually use a recieiving blanket and she breaks her arms loose and gets mad about it in no time. I just started using the "swaddle-me" blanket, love it and so does she!

Nope....Shelby likes her arms free! I do the same with the blanket around her legs. I have one of those swaddler things that someone gave me and if she like being swaddled it would have been great...but I put it on her and then laughed at how mad she got and watched her try to get her arms out...so stinkin cute! Needless to say, we don't use it!

Yes bentley seems to like it. He is so tiny still I just use the regular receiving blankets. I bought some extra large ones off of etsy for when he gets bigger.

Claire loves to be swaddled! She goes to sleep almost automatically once she is swaddled. I just use regular receiving blankets.

Nope. We did for a few days after leaving the hospital, but she hates having her feet AND hands covered. We put her in a long sleeved/footsie sleeper and then put a light receiving blanket over her and she usually kicks it away.

Yes! We leave his hands free during the day, but at night we wrap him right up tight, and he loves it. We use receiving blankets or a light blanket.

I have some swaddle me sleepsacks by summer I think. I used them a lot at first, but now he hates having his arms in there and then I felt like if his arms came loose then the top around his neck was too loose and I worried about it suffocating him! I am a tad bit more paranoid than most I think though. lol

I am using the SwaddleMes with Lew. He sleeps like a rock when bundled up in one!

No, Zachary doesn't like being swaddled, especially his hands and arms.

Chauncey hates to be swaddled. Even at 1 day old he was like Hudini and wiggled his arms out of the blanket.
His hands are always cold but he has a fit if we try to cover them. Not a huge surprise though considering my husband won't even put on a hat until it gets to 40 below zero.

I tried last night. the hospital gave us a Halo Swaddle sleepsack. Well, I laid her in my bed while I tucked my middle son in. She ended up screaming (cuz I put her down). My oldest goes in to check on her, and about died when he seen her! He thought I was being mean! I told him she was now my lil' prisoner, and I had put her in jail ...LOL...

I'll try again today, but so far no luck!

Nope. We tried when he first came home, but he would wiggle out. I do have some swaddle blankets that someone gave me but I haven't tried them.

Yes! I have to use the swaddle me blankets with the velcro because he breaks out of receiving blankets...I have even started using them for naps and he sleeps so much better!

I've been swaddling her since birth. We just stopped swaddling during the day, but have been using the Woombies to swaddle her at night and she is sleeping great!

I swaddle everynight, did it with all my babies-they love it! I use a Halo Swaddle Sack-great product! For the other kids I used large receiving blankets, but they always undid and those hands got free-the Halo is perfect that way
