When I was using disposable wipes no, because they seemed to irritate him no matter which kind I use. Now that I'm using cloth wipes, yes.

Yes. I wipe every time, so I see no reason not to wipe her.

99% of the time. I've done up her diaper and clothes at night and realized once or twice I forgot to wipe after already getting her comfy in bed.

I do, but my mom never does when it's just a wet diaper. I don't complain, because she doesn't change that many diapers, and I don't want to sound ungrateful.

I don't wipe if it is wet and we are getting in a bath or shower; otherwise, I always wipe.

hmmmm 99.9999 % of the time....but a few times this past Sat for the 1st time I did not.....we were at softball games all day and it has gotten a little colder.....she had a wet diaper not a BM.....and even the car was chillier than I liked when I took her there to change her......so I definitely just changed her diaper w-out the wipes thinking it was too cold to a) use them and b) take that long to have her undressed....It is not cold enough to bother her and her hands and feet are still warm to the touch but cold enough not to have her body exposed I think...However it made me feel weird not to use wipes.....so Sunday DH and I decided I should stay home with the baby when my other DD had her soccer game.....

Yes. My MIL use to give me so much crap about it with DS but luckily now we don't even see her, so I don't have to hear it.

The only time I don't is when I take his diaper off to give him a bath (unless he's pooped!)

Our pedi told us that it's not necessary to wipe every wet diaper and could cause more of a rash for sensitive skinned babies.
So I don't wipe every wet diaper. Definitely the poopy ones, of course, and the first wets of the day. I change her pretty often though so there's not a lot to worry about when I don't wipe.

With poopy I do every time not with peepee unless its a whole lot cause i am afraid of getting rashy from being too wet unnecessarily so -2 diaps a day dont get wiped and if hes going to bath i dont unless its a poopy.

Always wipe, unless she is going into the bath

Once I start using cloth instead of sposies, I will agree with this. But I wipe with something dry 99% of the time. So at the moment, I do not wipe with a disposable wipe every time. When I switch to cloth I plan to use one part to wet wipe her clean and the other part to completely dry her.

I hardly ever wipe unless he's poopy (and he has 2-4 poopy diapers, so with each of those). When my girls were babies I did with every diaper change, perhaps because it made more sense with their anatomy, or maybe because disposable diapers just didn't seem as clean against their skin... It's been a long time. Anyway, I rarely wipe when we change him- just whisk off the old pee diaper and pop on the new clean one. He has no problems with rash, and I give him a pretty thorough washing with a warm washcloth every time he poops so he stays nice and clean
