We are flying to Texas for a long Thanksgiving visit with the in laws. It will be the second time M has flown and this time I will have DH to help, plus it is a direct flight, so it shouldn't be too bad. I hope it will be easy when we get there too. I have a loooong list of all the baby items I need to bring plus I can't wash serious cloth diapers there, they have super duper crazy hard (and scarce) well water and an old HE washer, so we'll be doing a combo of grovia sposie (hybrid) inserts and flats. And pottying, hehe.

For Christmas we are staying here since my family is here... It will be the first time I haven't had to travel for xmas since I was 14, before I went to boarding school!!! Half my lifetime!

Anyone else making any big or little trips?

Flying to Wisconsin over Thanksgiving. I'm not looking forward to traveling alone with the baby, but I want my relatives to meet him and I can't get off of work for christmas. SHen, where is home for you?

We might or might not visit my parents in Arkansas for TG, it's 11 hours one way sans baby. We will defiantly go over x-mas when we can stay for at least 1 week. I just can't see the trip taking less that 14 hours this time

Just moved back to where I grew up, northern California, south of San Francisco I fit in around here much better than I did in Mississippi

Blueeyes, eek, 14 hour drive!! I would definitely wait until you can stay a whole week. I am a travel weenie though
