Just got back

Well DH and I just got back from our lil' vacation this evening and boy was I ready to see my lil' man! I missed him sooooo much that I don't think I will be taking another trip without him. We did take a nighty of his that he wore the last night with us before our trip and we had picture of him with us too. He stayed with my parents and they absolutely loved having him. We met them in Kinston which is about an hour drive for both of us and DH and I were ready to jump out of the car to see our LO. When we saw him I swear he had grown like 2 feet (not really)! He looked like he had changed so much in the past 4 days. It was crazy. I teared up when I saw him! DH and I had fun but we couldn't stop talking about Clayton. Now that we are home we are unpacking and getting back into the groove of things with a baby. I am excited Thanksgiving is around the corner and Christmas not far behind! I think I will put up Christmas decor this weekend.

Glad your home with your baby boy! I don't know how you left him for 4 days, I admire you : ) and my DH is jealous hehe...

Awwwwwwwwwwwww! had to be amazing coming home to him (make me tear) Glad you got some you time! And I didn't realize we were near each other (kinda!) I live in Jacksonville (about an hour from Kinston!!)

I am familiar with the Jax area. Do you know of a store called Truckers Toy Store? If so, my parents own that. We have one there, Morehead City, and Wilson (where DH and I live).

I'm glad you got some time to yourself & DH..we need that sometimes. My DH works 80+ hours a week..with duty (meaning staying on the ship 24-36 hours straight) every 4 days. I'm worn out and I miss having time with him. I went home for a wedding a couple weeks ago (just there for the weekend) but DH didn't come with bc he couldn't get leave from work. I'd love a little get-away with him. It is hard being away from the kiddos though!! I missed my boys so much while I was in OH..thought I'd catch up on sleep and then tossed and turned til 3 or 4 each night missing them. I swear Archer had grown & changed in just the couple days I was gone too..it's crazy!
