So for those of you who have another same sex LO that is not to far in age from the older one.... what are you getting your LO for Christmas???? I have EVERYTHING from clothes to toys of Madison's saved for Kaitlyn.... and Madison was/is quite the spoiled little kid(and I am OCD so everything is is perfect new condition).... so I have NO clue what to get Kaitlyn or what to tell the Grandparents to buy her!

Yeah, we are in that boat too I have no clue. We have clothes, diapers, toys coming out our ears. Liam was the first grandbaby on both sides, he has three single-working uncles (aka: they have money to blow), and we spoil him ourselves. Poor Kieran is not going to have anything to himself. I got him a cute pair of shoes the other day, since they were such a good price and are soft soled for fall walking. But otherwise, I dunno.

Have you thought about an education account? We are going to open a Maryland Pre-Paid College Trust account for her and ask for everyone to donate to that this year since she doesn't really need anything nor does she care.

Maybe ask for nessessities like diapers, wipes, laundry deturgent, bath stuff (if you didn't get a ton at you showers like we did), formula (if you use it), grocery/gas gift cards..ect.

A collage fund or a trust fund is a great idea. Maybe do a donation to a charity that you guys love.

We are just getting Nara some small stuff and nessessities. We aren't doing any thing major and I don't even think we'll put up a tree. She's too little to unwrap anything so I don't know if we'll wrap anything either. I've gotten a few small things for DH and he'll probably buy himself a high ticket item like a gun or the latest electronic thing he wants. He always gets me something high ticket and a few small things.

I'm with you there, she has all the clothes, toys she needs. We have a savings account for both girls that already has quite a bit in there so adding money there is nothing new - we do it every paycheck.

I'm thinking maybe something personalized that Alicia doesn't have. It is her 1st Christmas so I do want to give her something special.

Thanks for the ideas! We do have a ton of diapers, wash that kinda stuff already... We do have a savings account.... I feel bad cause shopping isn't as fun as it was with DD1 cause it is a "been there, done that, have that" situation... The personalized thing might work!

I don't have 2 the same gender, but DS doesn't need a thing. My DD is a year younger than yours so I can kind of cheat and get them joint gifts still. We're getting them a sled for winter, and DH is making a table and chairs for the playroom!

Archer is getting a walker bc Xander's broke, a bumbo chair bc we never had one with Xander, and some clothes. We have a lot of Xander's clothes..but X's 3 month stuff was still warm weather stuff where as Archer will need a lot of warm 3-6 stuff. Toys, though..neither of them need! lol
