Beau has been on a "sleep strike" ever since the teething began. He's averaging around three naps a day now, but each one is MAYBE twenty minutes long if we're lucky. (Usually more like ten). He also always tries to time the last one for around 7:30 PM, so that he's waking up and wanting to party right as the rest of us are going to bed. Stubborn little monkey! I wish we could get him to sleep longer, but these teeth seem to be driving him (and by proxy, the rest of us), crazy.
What about the rest of you? How many naps a day does your LO take?
Susie takes like 2-3 naps a day. She has a morning, afternoon and evening nap. I nap with her during her evening nap, and she will sleep for like an hour or so. Her other naps tend to be shorter.
Eli tends to nap 3-4 times a day. If he's not sleeping very well and getting very crabby I'll put on a show for Eliana to watch and just cuddle with him for an hour. It catches him up nicely.
Chase does a 30 min morn. nap usually then around noon a nap that can be from 1 hour or sometimes 2 1/2..just depends..some days he on strike too and will nap like 2 20 min naps a day..those days are hard
She will take like 3 naps a day but sometimes she just cat naps through the day! It all depends how crazy the other kids are that day and if they let her get any peace and quiet!!
prob an average of 3 per day...we have her up 1/5-2hours then down for a nap for however long, then the same amount of time up, then down for another nap etc etc
It just seems crazy to me that my three-year old gets more total naptime during the day than my 7-month old does! But what can I do? I try to tell Beau that he should take more naps, but he won't listen to me.
Ryan takes about 3 naps a day 2 at about 15 mins and one at about an hour. But he sleeps great at night most nights. He goes down at 7 pm and get's up at 6-7 am
Charlie usually has two or three naps during the day. He takes a 1-2 hour nap around 9am-10am, and then another one at around 1pm-2pm. If his second one isn't long enough he might need a small cat nap before supper.
