about your SO and you child/children?

My dh has this wonderful habit of when they get slightly grizzly he "needs to go to the toilet" ....30mins later he comes back when Ive sorted them out and they have been happy and fine for ages.

My DH does the same thing! I would say that it's the most irritating thing right now too because he's been on the couch all weekend making up excuses why he can't do things around the house.

My DH uses the excuse of work as the reason why he never, and I mean NEVER has gotten up with our son at night. It's also the reason why he sleeps in till 10-11am most mornings. I get extremely resentful of how much sleep he gets while I feel like I can never get enough! Not fair!!!

My husband does the same, but what irritates me more is how many parenting short cuts he takes. When Eli was born I had Eliana not only sleeping through the night, but going to sleep when I put her down. When I handed over nighttime Eliana duty so I could take care of Eli I thought I was giving him a super easy job. It's been getting worse and worse and now she's up for hours every night, is crabby all the time and won't go to sleep unless DH walks around holding her. Last night I laid down the law and have him teaching her to go to sleep on her own all over gain. I'm frustrated that I have to practically babysit him just to get him to take care of his kids.

And that turned into quite the rant
