Katelyns schedule is pretty much:
Wake up, nurse.
~7-9 am fruit and cereal, usually Kix or cheerios
~10 nurse
~1 snack (totally varies by day )
Afternoon nursing varies by day as well. Sometimes it's once or twice sometimes it's 5 or 6 times.
~6 supper sometimes what we are eating sometimes a jarof veggies, sometimes I add a jar of meat.
Nurse to sleep ~7-9
For the other self feeding babies what types of things do you offer?
Poor Katelyn is eating an awful lot of baked sweet potatoes and squash, cooked carrots and asparagus, and crackers because this mama isn't very inventive I guess.
Last night I was really bad and she had vienna sausages and macaroni and cheese ........

She eats 2nd foods as of this afternoon but that is still puree. other than the fact that they are blends, I am not sure what the diff is between 1st and 2nd foods. Also, she is not eating any real food off our plates. She's never had a cracker. My book says by the 7th month she should be able to feed self a cracker. I am scared to death to give her a cracker.

Tristan eats anything and everything lol. Today I gave him little pieces of the inside chicken on a chicken patty and I scrambled an egg yolk for him this morning. He always loves his boob juice though and I give him oatmeal mixed with puréed foods once a day
Savannah still gets about 5- 7oz bottles a day. She demands it! She has baby food that I have prepared, yogurt, or oatmeal 2 times a day (mid-morning and evening). Usually eats 2-4oz each meal. We also give her tastes of things off our plate: soups, sauces, mashed up stuff. She likes Mum Mums, but can't figure out what to do with the Puffs. Not quite ready for cheerios and small soft foods yet.
I just started feeding her real food twice/day so her schedule looks like this:
7am wake up and nurse
nurse on demand until-
10 am nap
11 am "brunch" = 2 ounces of puree
nurse on demand until-
1 pm nap
nurse on demand until-
4 or 5 pm "dinner" = 2 ounces of puree
nurse on demand until-
7 pm bedtime
nurse on demand (usually 2-3 times per night)
I am going to start finger foods when we go to 3 meals/day. Until then she loves her purees and I let her feed herself. She is becoming quite the pro at using the spoon (which I load with food for her). She has had: pumpkin, snap peas, turnips, rutabaga, carrots, avacado, rice, oatmeal, etc.
Around lunchtime I give her two ice-cubes of baby food (equals 1oz)
And around dinner time, she gets another two cubes.
Thus far she's had avocado, sweet potatoes, peas, carrots, bananas, zuchinni & squash.
I've given her MumMums & puffs a couple times to distract her from being bad. lol
Breatsmilk 95% of the time.
He will have a little bit of food if we are eating out, though most of it ends up on the floor or in his lap. Usually it's just bits of stuff off our plates.
He's had: apple, peas, spinich artichoke dip on a tortilla, hummus on veggie crisps, olives, mushrooms, crackers, melon, rice and beans, pancake, 1 bite of ice cream but the only food I can 100% confirm he ate was a pickle. lol, that was an interesting diaper change!
We had planned to make our own babyfood, but well, things changed. He's never had anything that is specifically listed as babyfood.

Colton hasnt had too many different foods yet, but it looks like this
7:30- nurse
8:30- oat cereal, sometimes avacado, cheerios to play with. Added egg yolk this week. He LOVED it
9:30 nap/nurse
12- nurse
2- nurse/ nap
4:30 nurse
5:30 chicken and veggie (carrots or green beans so far)
7:30 nurse/ bed
Then he nurses at least twice over night.
Wow that baby nurses a lot!

Colton still gets mostly breastmilk but feeds himself three meals a day. Breakfast is usually fruit or an egg... Lunch fruit, lunch meat whatever I'm eating and then dinner is whatever I make. He seems like he eats a lot but he is a hog and only about half of what he is Offered makes it to the destination. We do no purées

Still pretty much breastmilk here too. She nurses frequently day and night. Once per day when we have supper we offer her something. No purees here. Sometimes it is pieces of cut up bananna, other times baked, sliced, potato, avacado chunks, today she ate ritz crackers and pieces of soft veggies from my soup.
He mostly refuses all foods. Purées, finger foods, all of it.
So just breast milk here.
Alexis doesn't have much interest in food yet, we've tried purees a few times and she's had a few bites and some finger foods, but she just doesn't want it.

I've attempted to give Addi cereal and baby food a few times. She'll take a few bites good, then just spits it out. So, we're on no real schedule. She's basically still a full time booby baby. (I get crap for it all the time) I'm SO scared to give her anything solid: cheeries, puffs, etc. She's always so interested in what I'm eating, so sometimes I'll give her a taste. Mashed potatoes, stuff like that. Today she sucked on a freeze pop I was eating.
Does anyone do watered down juice at all??
Since I get crap for Addi not being on a set schedule with food yet (other than BM) it's nice to see she's not the only one who basically refuses. I figure she'll let me know when she's ready. And, she's definitely not tiny. hehe.

Nope, and quite frankly I don't care if she ever gets juice. AJ still isnt a juice fan and will regularly ask me for water over anything else. I hope my princess is the same way

My little lady would rather have food over a bottle anytime. She's a little piggy! She eats pretty much what we do and some times she gets jarred food.
Evan is mostly just formula fed still. He's refusing most solids. He seems to be ok with sweet potato, but one cube is his limit. He'll also accept a few bites of pear, but most things come right back out.
