My parents have a dual furnace, not exactly the same thing, but their furnace can run on either wood or oil. The years they didn't use wood they filled their oil tank every month and a half for the winter months. Now that they used the wood during the day and only use the oil for night and when they aren't home, they fill the oil tank twice all winter. I'd say it's a huge savings to use the wood.

I have a Wood stove and a oil furnace, ours is not a dual furnance.
My DF pays 20 bucks a year and cuts our own wood and it saves us A LOT we barley use oil during the winter, we have spent less than $300 this winter on oil.
The wood stove heats our whole house nicely, However it gets really hot (which is good because I love a warm house) because I had the vent open so the wood would burn better and I forgot to shut it down and thats why it was so warm last night. Our Wood stove is in the basement right bellow the kitchen area and we have a huge vent in our floor so the heat rises up threw that.
Most months our heating bill is 0, I only have to pay hydro which is our electricity.

Well, so far I've had my shower and put my hair in a bun so it's wavy for tonight, my nails are painted. All kids are fed, 2 are napping and 2 are colouring. 1 more hour of daycare kids and then I can pack up my own kids and get ready to go tonight.

One of these days I will feel caught up with work and cleaning the house. I can't stop thinking about all the housework that needs to be done.

You have no idea!! I honestly don't remember the last time I went out with no kids and no husband and just did something for me. I'm thinking this is the second time in the past 8 years!
If you find a way to feel caught up with both work and housework at the same time, let me in on your secret! I'd love to have that feeling too.
Good luck with the rehearsal, I hope it goes well. Maybe I should wish you luck with the grading, I think that would be my least favourite part of teaching.

Grading is the worst part. Sometimes I really just want to give the parents a video clip of the "angels" I teach w/ the faces blacked out and voices changed to have the parents give the kids grades. It would be interesting to see how some of the parents would grade their own children.
You definitely need a night out!! Have a great time!

LOL! That would be so funny! Too bad that would be more work than marking.
Well, I'm on my way out to do school pick up. My daycare mom thought she would be back by now, but since she's not here and her kids are I have to take all 4 little ones with me to the school.

I got caught up in reading that I totally lost track of time! The kids overslept and I was late getting dinner started, oh well the book is great!

I really am the only one who has nothing to do on a friday night, I am lame haha
I'm getting my little bro to come and watch the kids (well they are all asleep) so I can run to the store and pick up a few things then I'm gonna take a bubble bath, drink a beer and relax while reading the hunger game...sounds perfect to me

I'm just getting home. Heading to bed now.
I'll post when I get a chance, but I'm not going to have much time on the computer tomorrow.
