Kynslee did sleep good but didn't get down until after 11 and up at 6 but at least she went through the night. YAY for hitting 12 week mark! How have you been feeling so far?
Hazel - sorry the kids won't sleep in! I hope you can get a nap in sometime! Though it's nice to know everyones safe when you hear noises from kid/s in the morning it's hard when you see the clock and realize it's still early to not think can't I just roll over and sleep for another hour.
The nausea and fatigue were much worse this time, but both are starting to get better. Thanks for asking.
Dh went out and bought a couple different pacifiers hoping that Katherine would like one of them. Luckily she loved the first one we gave her. We'll see if it helps her sleep or not.
It's 3:40 here and Kynslee has been up for over an hour and has been playing and happy for the last half hour. Well, as I type she's starting to get a little fussy and so hopefully she'll want to nurse and go back to sleep - If I'm lucky
I had some friends over today that I hadn't seen in a long time. It was nice but I;m not feeling very good. My stomach hurts and I think I'm getting pink eye.
Applejacks, ON YOUR PREGNANCY!! EEKKK!!! I am so excited for you! How far along are you?
We are doingi great. Nathan is crawling all over the place and got his second tooth this morning. He sleeps pretty good. Bradley is a great big brother, however, the threes are a lot more difficult than the twos. We manage. Haha.
No..not a bug I don't think. I've always had stomach issues and it just randomly hurts off and on. My eye is the sucktaculer part. It's a bit better today but I can't tell if it's pink eye or just really bad allergies.
Sorry you're not feeling too good. DH has stomach issues also and the last few days his stomach has just hurt and felt weird also. The way you described your stomach sounds just like what hubby is describing to me. But, yesterday he came home from work with a low grade fever also. He feels better today but said stomach is still 'off' feeling.
Kynslee is sick with a low grade fever - her first true sickness. She finally went down for a nap after I gave her some Tylenol so hopefully she wakes up better. I'm wondering if she caught whatever DH had. I just hope I stay healthy - I don't need to get sick!!
Katherine - how nice to hear from you!! Thanks for stopping in Wow - Nathan is getting so big! Crawling before 6 months what a big milestone; Must be keeping you on your toes between the two boys
Little Kynslee is so tired and I think also being sick plays a roll into it too but she just won't go to sleep. She's fighting it so bad that she won't even nurse now to try and relax - SIGH! I ended up taking her outside to calm her down which helped now I'm just trying to wait until she'll eat again and possibly go to bed. But, when she gets down late like this she usually doesn't have a good nights sleep. I hope she does sleep good though as DH is fighting a cold and has to get up early and I know he needs good rest so he doesn't get worse. And, the better she sleeps the better it'll be for her sickness. I was hoping she'd sleep it off but not sure if that will be the case or not.
Poor thing . Does she have any other symptoms? Sickness stinks.
The boys both had small colds over christmas time and it pretty much stunk. Especially whne they are so little and nursing takes so much effort and they just fight the boob.
I hope she is feeling better today. I remember when Bradley had his first illness I was so sad for him. Its a feeling as a first time mom you remember so well. Each time it is still sad, but I can remember that standing out to me.
Its supposed to be in the high 60's and sunny today! Woo hoo! For New England thats pretty amazing! Usually I do a good deep clean on Fridays, but I think we may just spend the day playing outside on our gym set and doing walks. Maybe cook a nice dinner?
Kynslee is doing better today! YAY!! So glad as I hate seeing her struggle and be in pain and can't really do anything besides try in cuddle her which she doesn't really care for. I miss that cuddle time from when she was younger! She was weezing and coughing some but that's better and as the fever was breaking yesterday she had a runny noise. But, no fever today and so far coughing is minimal.
YAY for 13 weeks - CONGRATS!! Each new milestone is so exciting to reach.
Catherine - that's nice that your having good weather. Our weather here is really warm. Yesterday hit a record high of 83 and they said today was going to be just as warm and Sat and Sun maybe hotter. Where is my spring-like weather?
Hazel- OMG I am so sick of oatmeal. Lindsay (Mum2LGandC) gave me the advice when I was trying to build up a freezer stash and I could NOT believe how well it actually works!!! I eat an instant pack in the am and in the pm!
I LOVE warm weather especially humid. Which we rarely get. I would be so excited if it hit 83!
We are hoping to get bunches of lawn work/lawn care done this weekend so I will prob wont be around until the beginning of the week.
Glad Kynslee is better and we hope everyone has a great weekend
I should really try oatmeal. Does it work if you don't eat it every day? Like if I took it every few days?
Hazel - hope Iz is getting stronger and recovery is going good. And, hope that you were able to get some sleep
Catherine - were you able to get some yard work done? I want to go out and do yard work so bad but we have no yard in our apartment and I actually miss going outside and working. DH and I both love outdoors and Kynslee since a newborn has always loved the sunshine and she would just relax in our arms when in the sun. Now, she loves outside and loves stroller rides and anything outside. I can't wait until we can move out of CA and hopefully buy a house!
I've been busy this weekend. Went to many yard sales Sat morn then home then back out to go baby sit. Today we went to Church then grocery shopping then got a bite to eat then back home and now Kynslee is taking a nap. How has everyone's weekend been? Busy, boring, relaxing?
My week is going so so . We farm, so new coop build has been on the to do list. We have a roomie for awhile ..... and she has a 13 yr old daughter, so that's been....well interesting I guess.
Squeakers will NOT take a paci - she'd rather use me as a human pacifier. But, she has slept in her bed all night for a week now. Whoot!
