Dh just left for work and Miss Nara is napping. She's gotten so big! It's hard to believe that I was pregnant this time last year. I think I'm getting a bit of baby fever since I have so many friends that are pregnant right now.

In other news, Nara is crawling and has 4 teeth now. I can't wait until she's walking!

It is strange to think we were pregnant this time last year. I remember this time last year thinking... next year at this time I'll have a 6 month old. I can't believe it! Kynslee is starting to scoot a little bit more, but not sitting or crawling yet. And, she is still working on her bottom 2 teeth. I also have several friends that are pregnant and though it kinda makes me want another one, I'm fine with just Kynslee right now. One of my good friends just had her second LO and I miss a newborn!!

Kynslee is going through her wake up in the night phase again and I miss my STTN.

I've been baking away today. My feet are sore from being in the kitchen all morning! Helped DH make loaded breakfast burritos (then I did sit down and eat breakfast but back to work I went) then I made stuffed jalapenos and then a double batch of zucchini bread. May not sound like much to some people but man I'm glad to be out of the kitchen for a bit

YAY for no sickness! Bound to be a blessing to have no one sick.

I'm tired, Kynslee woke up 2 times in the night and then decided she was ready to wake up at 7:30. I was up for almost an hour once of the times she woke up because I just couldn't go to sleep. So, I'm tired!

I hate being tired but not be able to fall asleep--usually I drift off right before one of the kids wakes up :/

That's what I did. I fell asleep about 30-45 mins before Kynslee woke up for the morning. Luckily DH was sweet enough (who was able to sleep through the feedings and fall back asleep quicker) to take her for another hour. But, I just drifted in and out of sleep and kept watching the clock.

I'm going to try and get her ready for bed pretty soon. I hope she has a good nights sleep - I'm so ready for a good night.

It not quite 6 yet and she is eating for her 3rd time already tonight. SIGH!!! She would STTN at 8 wks and I was very lucky. At 4 months she went through the sleep regression and then now for the last almost 2 wks she has not STTN at every time she wakes up she wants to nurse before going back to sleep. Anyone else dealing with another sleep regression? I don't mind once a night and then right back to sleep maybe (even though the STTN was so much nicer) but 3 times a night waking up? Am I alone?

Iz has been waking up numerous times to eat. But I'm OK with it--she's so tiny that eating is good! And it won't last forever

But I always hope I can catch a nap later

Yeah she's small and eating as much she can is nice but was wondering why suddenly for the past week and half she's been waking and eating. I was wondering if maybe now she's not getting enough in the day? She did STTN last night though so I don't know.

It's cloudy today and raining off and on. Even had thunder for a bit - which isn't often in our area.

She might be hitting that six month growth spurt?

I was about to say it sounds like she's having a growth spurt. Nara can never get enough to eat when she goes though one and it always messes up her sleep.

Well it's 4:20 our time and miss Kynslee is not only up but playing like it's in the middle of the afternoon. She already ate once, I'm just waiting for her to get tired out then eat again and hopefully back to sleep.
Maybe she is going through a growth spurt - I just don't remember her other growth spurts lasting over a week. But, maybe that means she'll actually go on a true growth spurt and gain weight. My tiny little peanut She could use some weight to her 11 lbs.
She is finally starting to fit into most 0-3 clothes - Yay!! But, some are still way to big and others that we do put on her have to still be pinned or are really baggy but still fit better then once did.

Katherine is going through a sleep regression too, but I'm calling it a sleep strike. She's been waking up 2-4 times a night and it takes at least a half hour to get her back down. She also insists on nursing the entire time she's awake. We had a 3 hour comfort nursing session the other night starting at 2:30. Every time I tried to unlatch her she would wake up crying and refuse to settle down until I gave her the breast again, and she's now refusing her paci, so that wasn't an option. She was also only napping for 15 - 20 minutes at a time and only twice a day. Last night she only woke up once and she took a 1 1/2 hour nap today, so I'm hoping this means the strike is over and I'll be able to get some much needed sleep.

I hope your Kynslee starts sleeping for you again soon.

Thanks, me too! I hope Katherine's sleep strike ends soon. Kynslee does the same thing as far as nursing the whole time and crying anytime I try and unlatch her. She will still occasionally take her paci during the day but never at night anymore either - she just wants a boob. Sometimes it's 20 mins but often 30 - as long as almost 2 hrs the other night with about 15 mins of play time between feedings. My nipples are starting to get sore again.

You're bound to be even more tired being pregnant also. HUGS!! hope you start getting better sleep.

Thanks. I know what you mean about the sore nipples. I had to dig through my diaper bags to find my lanolin the other day.
Last night Katherine was asleep before 7, but she woke up 5 times and thought 11:30 equaled playtime for 1 1/2 hours. The pregnancy exhaustion is starting to get better, since I'm 12 weeks along, but it has been really tough up until now.

Did Kynslee sleep any better last night?

Hazel: Sorry your kids wont sleep in. Hope you get a nap soon.
