what are some things you've either given up, have to do without, don't enjoy as much or cut back on since your LO arrived? If it was your first or you have other kids something seems to give - including our patience sometimes
The Young and the Restless. I used to watch it every day (dvr'd) but now I may watch it once every two weeks. I still watch some other tv, but not near as much as I used to. And that will probably keep going down as she gets older
I don't get to read as much as I want to. And if I am reading for pleasure, I feel guilty because I'm not up to date on my baby books or magazines! We don't go out to eat or watch movies like we used to either. I can't even tell you the last movie I saw, even at home. By the time Brady goes to bed, we are usually exhausted and after getting ready for the next day (to do it all over again!) DH and I just crash. We have talked about taking date nights and I think that's really important. My work is starting to slow down and hopefully DH will be in a new job sometime this summer, so that will make it easier to go do those things.
Girls day out. And I miss it. K refuses the bottle, so I have to be around every couple hours to feed him. Going out with girlfriends was a monthly thing before baby, now I am just waiting to go again.
And sleep. I give up my 10 hour nights. But I am used to that by now. Lol. It's been since before Liam that I slept 10 hours!
I've pretty much given up crafting and eating out. I used to spend every night sewing or crafting after the kids went to bed but now I'm still up another hour or so with Collin. By the time I get him down, make lunches for my kids and husband and clean the kitchen I'm beat. I can barely drag myself to bed, lol. We hardly ever eat out because its so expensive and I feel like we make such a scene. Four kids in a restaraunt is kind of a lot and we're a loud bunch.
My hobbies
Sleep
Getting almost anything for myself.
Although he is worth all of it, I probably gave up too much and lost myself as a individual in the process of becoming a mom. My whole world revolves around him.
