It's 4/17/12 at 9:02pm, my husband is doing ours now.
A few years back this would've bothered me, but not anymore.
+A few hours before our wedding he suddenly remembered that he needed to get his tux pants hemmed...he made it in time!
+An hour before we were to leave for Germany on our honeymoon he realized he had no clean jeans or shorts and began doing laundry. We didn't miss the flight, but we did end up running all over Italy trying to find a laundrymat because his mildewy jeans were stunk up our luggage for 3 days.
Thye say opposites attract. I plan everything months in advance, my husband makes plans as things are happening.

I do most the important stuff around here because if I left it to dh it would get left for the last second and probably never get done.

If we are going somewhere as a family I packs ALL 5 suitcases, the one time I asked DF to pack his own he forgot socks and only packed one pair of jeans, forgot his kit with all his deodorant and everything in it.
But we balance each other out pretty well I can be a pretty big slacker when it comes to certain stuff and my DF pulls it together for me, same thing with our taxes he done it all and I just had to sign my name lol.

I wouldn't care if he waited as long as they were done and filed in time. Did he make it?

Hope he got it done!
I run the ship when it comes to making sure things get done on time. If I left everything to him... many things would be forgotten. He does do a great job though once he knows what needs doing and when.

Hope it got it all done! Neely and I are similar. He waits till the last minute for really important things like taxes, but for things that matter to him (like band crap) he's hours early!

Our taxes asap. We pretty much always get $ back, and considering we had a 2 door car and huge gas hog dually pickup, we needed a new vehicle pretty bad.

Oh man, that would drive me crazy.
DH always gets his W2 back before me and my job sends it on the last day. So he files his taxes ASAP (this was our first year married) and this year he went crazy waiting for mine to get here.
I do our bills and such because I hate that DH pays stuff late. But of course, he gets aggravated when he wants to go somewhere and I still have to get me ready and the baby ready. He usually packs the bag though.
When we go out of town, I do the majority of the packing. He grabs certain stuff then I have to say, "did you forget...." and he usually did. LOL
