10pm here, neighbours are outside partying, drums and all, girls are complaining they can't sleep with the noise. It should be a fun night.
I didn't get the cake baked tonight, so now I have to bake it and decorate it all tomorrow while looking after the kids alone since DH is working, again.

Hey that snowball looks gooood!
You would think in Texas we'd have lots of snow cone stands, but nope! I haven't had a snow cone in forever. I'm going to rent a machine for Layla's birthday if we decide to have it outside.
Keelan looks cute in his swing! X likes the swings at the park as long as Layla is in one too.

Neighbours have quited down. I think they took their party to the bars downtown which means we shouldn't hear from them again until 2am.
DS is sleeping and the girls have finally gone to sleep too. I should head to bed myself but DH turned on some National Geo special and I want to see how it ends now.

Ugh! How can they be so noisy, completely disregarding the fact that some people are asleep at this time of night?

/My kid "napped" from 8:30-9:15 and is up and at 'em. Let's see how long he'll go tonight. 2 AM? 3 AM? Ugh, this is getting old really quickly. I wish there was a magic button you could press on a baby that could reset their internal clock. Clearly his is completely out of whack now.

Night 2 of a no fuss bed time for Joshua. Looks like we figured out what his "issue" was.

Yikes Dani that Is no fun. There's no way I could stay up until 2 am to entertain Tristan. My bed time is usually 10 at the latest!

Dani, I'd be out of my mind with exhaustion! So no hopes to cut out that last nap, huh?
I have an acquaintance (I'll tell y'all more about her later) w
Ho swears her kids are nocturnal. They're 3 & 8 months, & they sleep from 7 am to about 6 pm. Then they're
Up literally all night. I've never heard of such a thing! It can't be healthy. They never go out because they're sleeping when most people are out & a
Bout. She swears she's tried everything.

I'm so tired of sleeping on the damm couch, I went to bed last night at 11 and as soon as I got in bed Carter was sat up staring at me, its like he can sense my presence in the room and will NOT go to sleep once he knows i'm in there.
So I slept on the couch all night until he got up at 5 for a bottle, then I came back down stairs and he got up at 7am I put cartoons on for him and he watched tv and went back to sleep until 8:30 when my toddler got up. My back is killing me now though

I hope you can sleep better tonight and in your own bed without Carter waking up

Thanks, but the last time I spent the full night in my bed was over 2 weeks ago, When DF comes home next he is going to put the girls in room together and take the crib down and put Carter in his own room. I am sooo excited to be able to go in MY room read, watch tv and relax in my bed after the kids go to sleep. I haven't been able to do that in a long time and Im excited!!

Hey girls...the girl moms are catching up! I'm sitting here bored at work on a Saturday morning. Jacob is going through some sort of teething/9 month regression stuff. He's been waking up 1-2 times a night just crying. I think it's his teeth. His top 2 teeth are coming in with a vengeance. He never had any issues with his bottom 3 coming in, but there are really bothering him. I can't wait until all this teething stuff is done. Hope everyone has a great day!!

Oh my ladies! I feel so bad for you and your lack of sleep. I hope you can find a way to get a good night's sleep.
My neighbours friends finally all left at 1:30am after they stood out front drunk and yelling for just long enough to wake me up again.
I shall not hate my neighbours, I shall not hate my neighbours...

I've always threatened my girls that if they make a big mess I'm going to make them clean it up with a toothbrush.
Well today I followed through with this threat. They went outside and played in the mud then made a mess of the bathroom with the mud. I had mud on the walls, floor, light switch, stool, and of course all over the sink and taps. So I gave them each a clean toothbrush and told them to have at it.

I don't know y'all. She has a lot going on in her life right now. I'm not saying it didn't happen, but I'm wondering if stress & grief caused her to see something.

Oh interesting.....I think it's possible. But I do believe in that type of thing....and I think it could be her mom coming to visit in a stressful time in her life. Very interesting.... Thanks for sharing!
I went to bed at 12am last night....much later than usual. I started reading the book 50 Shades of Grey.... anyone else read or reading it???? In one of my other mommy groups everyone is reading it..so I thought it must be good.

Yeah, I really didn't know what to say to her so I said something along those lines as well. I told her maybe get mom came to her because she knew she wouldn't be afraid & because she needed her at the moment.

Keep posting ladies. The Girls team is ahead of us now!
So a question for you. At what age do you let your kids use an iphone/ipad? It was a question on FB today by a group I belong to and apparentely I was way off what other parents think. So I'm asking you, I'll be back in a bit to say what my answer on FB was.
