I don't have anything planned, as far as I know. DH has to work so I will probably just spend the day with my mom and Leigha.

Yep, Leigha got me something (with a little help from her daddy )! I don't expect it to be anything big but no matter what it is, it will still be so special!

I told Joe what I wanted, and he said to just get it. So I did. I got a Kindle, a cover for it and a mother's necklace!!

Sorry you're having to work on your final! Hope you finish it and get a good grade!

I have no idea if I'll get anything or what we're going to do. We'll probably stay around the house in the morning and then go to Church in the evening. I know for sure we won't go out to eat as most places will be packed.

DH has to work so we really aren't doing anything. We went out to eat yesterday and got a bunch of stuff done around the house so I'm pretty happy. He did buy me a bird feeder today so i guess that's my gift!

Cute new siggy Ashley!!!


I'm going over to my ILs for a family gathering for a couple of birthdays and Mother's Day combined in the afternoon. Then, for dinner, I'm heading to a swanky restaurant with my hubby, parents and sister to celebrate Mother's Day AND my parent's anniversary. My ILs are watching my kids while I go for dinner with my family, lol! Winning. I'm not sure what's going on for my own Mother's Day, but my 8 old year old made me the most adorable keepsake.

Thanks Laurel - and adorable pic of your kids! How sweet that you older daughter made you a keepsake - those are always the best gifts and the most treasured anyone (especially a mom) could receive. Have fun out with family - a break away from the kids
