No older kids but the high school seniors graduated the first and second weeks of May and everyone else was out last week.
Our schools get out earlier than most due to the extended daylight. They found that kids who were out riding bikes until 11pm don't focus too well the next day in school. It's kind of nice for summertime travel.

DSD has been out since May 11. The rest of the kids (non seniors) got out yesterday or the day before. Chuck's last day of preschool was May 21.

Not until June 29th. We go back the Tuesday after Labour day. Sept 4th this year. When do your guys go back as well?

They go to school 180 days here, so not as long as in Canada. My sis lives in Calgary and her kids get out the end of June. My kids get out June 1st, but they all want to go on summer field trips so they volunteered for summer school. Strange children.

I don't have an older kid in school, but I do know that schools around here get out at the end of June.

N and E are done preschool on June 14 and school starts up again the first week of Sept for them

Yeah, I can see how that would be a problem. When does school start?

that really seems like a short Summer break. We used to have almost all of June, July and August out of school. My kids go back the last week of August, on Daniel's birthday this year, August 27th.
