Just curious if anyone does these 'proactively'. Josie usually goes 12 hrs in pampers baby dry at night. For day she's usually in cloth. She is such a heavy wetter and the stink is unbearable if she wakes up very early morning (like 2 am on) for a feed. I did change her the other night and she slept until 730 which is way later than normal. But I did the same thing last night and she got up at her usual 6 am.
Do any of you change your baby in the middle of the night without there being a poop or leak?

I sure don't. Xavier sleeps from 8-7 straight, with no issues. I do give him his last bottle at 7 though, which gives him the opportunity to pee at least once before changing him for the night. The only time he wakes up wet is when it is time to go up in size in diapers.

I’m rocking my baby and babies don’t keep.
Usually only if she has leaked. But sometimes when I am feeding her the stink is bad too! so I will change her then. I try not to change her at night though because I find it wakes her up too much.
Alexis sometimes stirs for a feed in the morning, about 1-2 hours before she actually wakes up. She wears cloth at night too, and every now and then somehow in the night she's wriggled and jiggled enough to spring a leak. I always keep a diaper and wipes bedside for such occasions. I do it so she never wakes up. Regardless, this happens maybe once a week? Sometimes not. It's also not technically at night, more 6-7am.
I don't unless she wakes up. Usually she only wakes up if she poops.
Sometimes she does wake up wanting to eat so I'll change her while she has a bottle even if it's just wet.
Yes it always wakes her up if I change it for whatever reason. I think the other night when she woke up late after me changing her in the middle of the night it was a fluke.

Nope, I don't. He is up a couple times but isn't really "awake" just wanting to nurse and go right back to sleep. I feel like if I change him it will wake him up to much. He's in cloth so as long as he's wearing a fitted he doesn't leak. If he's used up all his cloth night diapers I put him in a sposie.

Thank you Vicki for my new siggy!
Nope, he rarely wakes up at night anymore, sleeps from 9pm until 7am straight. If he happens to wake up and I notice he's super soggy then I'll change him because I figure that's what woke him in the first place.

I don't change her at night. I only did when she was a newborn and would poop at night, but she doesn't anymore (first thing after she's awake though!) I'm like Marie, if she's asleep I don't touch her.
She wakes up a few times a night and I don't bother changing her. Like everyone else, it wakes her up too much, so unless she has leaked, I don't bother.

I change Tristan through the night quite frequently but that is because he loves to nurse all night and then constantly pees. If his diaper feels full I will change it just to make it a little more comfortable but only if he wakes up because of it.
