Interview went great! I know (of) the girl doing the interviews. We used to hang out with the same bar crowd before me and DH had Brynlee (and she just had a baby, too). We have 3 high schools in town. She is the coordinator as well as College Advisor at one of the high schools. So whenever I applied for the transfer, I had also e-mailed her my resume and cover letter. So we had been e-mailing back and forth about it.
She said she had 32 qualified candidates! She narrowed it down to 8. I was the first interview so she is interviewing the rest of them today and tomorrow. Then she will present the interview information to her supervisor and HR. She said she is hoping to call the person next week.
But I feel really confident about how the interview went. I had to answer typical interview questions, do some role playing, and also write an essay! Then when the interview was over, we just chatted like old friends, lol.
That sounds great!! I hope you got the job! I think being social and talking with her will go a long way because you are probably the only one that has stuck out to her of the other 7 candidates.
