One of my FB friends just posted that her son woke up this morning, raised his hands, and said "thank you Jesus." Not that remarkable, huh?
Well the baby is only 11 months. I think she's lying or exaggerating. I see that often from other moms too, and it always makes me laugh. I've met her son, & although I know babies do things only in the presence of certain people, he's no where near talking! Another one is MIL saying Tim was potty trained at 9 months & rinsing his own diapers out in the toilet. Anyone else know a Super Baby?

I'm sure it was something that sounded like Jesus. I say that bob says "thank you" but it's "tant too" and she only says it after I do, she surely doesn't know what it means yet.
but yeah some times people get a little carried away

ya know it never occured to me that people would tell something so off with a baby ... i mean .. they are babies .. they dont have to do anything but be super cute
umm my ex's mother told me her son was PT at one ... not sure how far into one yrs old he was but seriously i never thought i maynot be true ...
but maybe it is ... least she didnt say he was doing cartwheels and running a lawn mower by then

William made me crepes with fresh squeezed orange juice for breakfast. And then he went for a bike ride without any training wheels!

I'm over here laughing so hard. I'm such a nerd.
Xavier just woke up and said, "mommy stop laughing so hard. You're disturbing my nap." Then he climbed back in his pnp, covered himself up, and went back to sleep.

hahaha....sometimes when I see that stuff I think they MUST be joking!
I went for a nap and when I woke up, Liam must have cleaned the whole house because it was spotless and the laundry was done and put away ......
Oh wait..that was a dream....LOL

I guess it's plausible that an 11 month could do that, maybe if he has been hearing them say it over and over again every morning or something? lol who knows. People are WEIRD about their kids!!! LOL

Yeah, sometimes people joke about things like that, but she was dead freaking serious. This is not the first time she posted something like that. One time she posted something about her leaving her son alone with vaseline for a second, and when she came back, he had it everywhere. He was like 3 months old at the time. I read it and thought, "ohhhh, she's one of THOSE." And sure enough, post after post about super baby followed.
She better have a video to prove if she wants me to like her status!

Yeah, I've seen that so often in my years on JM. It's sort of obnoxious, but funny.

What?!?
And here I thought my kids must be so far behind.
I had a friend post that her baby was walking at 5mths. When she finally put up a video, she was holding his hands and sorta dragging him along.

Too funny! Poor kids, if they are doing all these things now imagine the pressure to be even more amazing in a few years?! Kindergarten, why not UNIVERSITY?!

I HATE people like that! (Although if you talk to DH, he swears up and down that Kaylee said "I have a grab bag!"... Two months ago haha)
I think I might exaggerate when I tell people the words Kaylee says. She HAS said them, but she doesn't say them on a regular basis. (Am I that lady!?! Haha)
