So, I've been sick every month this year. Every single month, often for 2, almost 3 weeks at a time. This means I've only not been sick for maybe 12 weeks this year?! That sounds terrible writing it down like that. I've been to the Dr. before and it's never anything more than a cold, virus, infection, whatever.

So now I have a Dr. appointment next Friday to ask WHY I am sick like this?! Have I NO immune system?!

I'm not even really sure what I should be asking... any suggestions what I should be asking to have done?

I had a random 24 hour sickness on Monday, fine Tuesday and Wednesday, and today I wake up with a sore throat. I've had it. Made the appointment this morning. Next Friday is a long way away, so I have time to think of what needs to be addressed.

Do you take a multivitamin?

And is it possible there could be mold in your house? Or maybe you have developed allergies? Do you use air purifiers in your home?

I know that my allergies used to go crazy....then I bought two air purifiers (the big tower stand on the floor units). I put one in our family room and one in our bedroom. Helped sooo much!!

If you find out what's causing it LMK!
DSD is like that, and has been forever. The kid is on some kind of medicine 8-10 times a year. Prescription medicine. It's exasperating and makes me want to beat her mom with a stick for not being more concerned about it.

I'm sure it's not mold, we did a major inspection and overhaul on this house when we moved in. No mold. I AM allergic to cats, and we have two, but my allergies are limited to touching them, them myself, I know the reactions and we do our best to maintain the hair in here. I'm certain it's not that either.

I'm still at a loss as to what I should be asking for... but this Friday at least I can get started. I'm sure my Dr. would have an idea about what to get started... I hope... I mean she has all the records from my going in this year.

When you get sick, do others in your house catch it as well? When someone else is sick do you always catch it? Or does it usually come out of nowhere?

Often yes, after I get sick it passes on to DH, and or Kairi... Alexis rarely gets it.

That makes me think it IS just cold, flu, virus... but I feel like they wouldn't be getting it if I didn't give it to them. I feel like my immune system is just shot and I pick up everything. I used to be able to go anywhere and be around others, but now if I go near anyone who has anything I will 100% get sick...
