I was telling a group of you that I made DS's birthday present, with the help of my mom and I had promised to post pictures.
So here it is, his wagon of wooden blocks. All made out of maple hardwood and left natrual so he can safely chew on them.
The wagon full of blocks, there are about 180 blocks in there:

Thats awesome! I love it. If you had bought those it would have cost a ton, good for you mama. Not only did you save, you also know exactly whats going into his mouth. I wish I could have a set in a wagon too!

That was exactly it Tobi, I started pricing out sets for him last Christmas and they were so expensive that I just couldn't afford them. Plus this way I knew the kind of wood I was getting and that it had no paint to chip off or chemical treatments for him to swallow.
It would cost me a small fortune to ship one too you, you know Canada Post and their prices!

If you wanted to make us a set, you could let me know how much and we could do a weekend trip to pick it up! We LOVE weekend trips and havent been on one in 2 years!

Thanks ladies, I had fun making them, granted my mom did all the hard work. She cut them all for me since I'm not really comfortable with the saw. I did the sanding and finishing touches.
