I borrowed the book Fifty Shades of Grey from a friend so I could read it and see what everyone is talking about. Anyways I was reading it the other night and my older son asked what I was reading. I told him the title and when he asked what it was about I said adult stuff.

Next night my younger son comes in the room and I am finishing reading the book. And he says "oh you are still reading the porno book?" (he is 9) I looked at him wide eyed and asked what he meant. Seems my older son's friend and my son were talking about the book I am reading and his friend said it was like porn (his older sister had told him that). So my younger son overheard it and told me. When I asked him what porn was he shook his head and said he didn't know! lol

So I had to tell him kids don't use that word. But geez....its so hard to keep younger kids totally innocent when they have older siblings with friends who have even older siblings!
