If its hot out and we are outside for a bit he will drink water. Not a lot, but he will sip at it on and off. Inside he will take a sip and then toss his cup or bottle aside. We have tried juices too and he takes a sip and is done. We have tried the baby juices, watered down regular juice and he won't take them. We bought some all natural blueberry juice last night because he loves eating blueberries and I am hoping he will drink some of that.

I know that juices can be sugary, but I just don't like him drinking only milk all the time. Wish he would drink more water!!

Anyone have any ideas? Anyone else going through this?

Maybe trying some ice in it? Lilli LOVES ice water! She drinks it and makes this AHH sound. It's hilarious. She perfers water though....

we only do milk and yogurt drinks with milk. rarely water, and never juice

Brynlee loves water and milk. I agree with putting ice in his water if you haven't tried that.

Honestly I don't give my kids juice until they're older, and even then it's a rare treat reserved for picnics and outings to zoos and amusement parks. As for water, I do offer it when it's super hot, but only if she looks like she's really hot. Otherwise, I just encourage her to drink milk. My older two drink either water or milk throughout the day. Never pop and once in awhile juice.

we rarely do juice too. I offer water more than juice, but I wouldn't sweat the juice too much. there is really no nutritional value to it.
