As Im sitting here watching Batoot-toot open the door of "her" cabinet in the kitchen.......I remembered the question u posted about locks and things for kynslee getting into everything.....I hope u found some that will work for you ...another suggestion which is what I have done since baby #2..( 1st born i just locked and bolted everything )...is to designate one drawer and cupboard for baby to 'get into' I just fill it with toys and special things to find.
Thanks for the suggestion! I've tried something similar to that as I don't mind her getting into the towel cabinets (both in bathroom and kitchen where she likes to open the cabinets) but she doesn't seem to understand yet that she can get into that cabinet and not the others. When she gets into the other cabinets we tell her No and show her the other cabinet we don't mind her getting into and she gives us a confused look and tries to open the cabinet she just opened. So, until she fully learns that she has one cabinet that she can get into then I want locks for the others as I don't want her making a mess of those cabinets. And under the sink is her favorite cabinet and that has some cleaning supplies (lysol, 409, windex, ....) in the very back and I don't think she can get to them but she's fast and I don't want an accident.
I will keep trying that suggestion though as I think it will work. And, I'll try putting toys in the towel cabinet so maybe it'll encourage her to get into that cabinet and not the others.
