Are you dressing baby up for Halloween? As what?
Do you dress up for Halloween?
I really wanted DH and I to be Mario and Luigi and Brynlee to be Princess Peach, hehehe But DH said no. So I bought a costume for Brynlee last year at a garage sale for $2. It's a cute ladybug costume.
I got one of those pregnancy skeleton t-shirts for myself. Shows a skeleton baby in my belly for those of you who don't know what I'm talking about
I also got Kaylee's costume second hand, it is a Disney Piglet costume that cost us a whopping $4! She will wear that trick or treating. Then my sister gave us this super elaborate over the top dress she had for her daugther that she never wore, so we're going to let her wear that for the two Halloween parties we're going to and she can be a little princess!
We are also doing a mini photo shoot for her for Halloween so she can wear both things for that
DH does dress up, though I don't know what he's going to be yet this year! He mentioned something about being a guy caught in the wind... so he would put some wire through a tie and have that going over his shoulder, and then do hair all messy and put a couple pieces of "garbage" on his clothes. Boys.
I'm not sure if I'm going to wear any cute maternity thing or not but usually we don't dress up.
I can't decide what Sav is going to be yet...She is obsessed with Minnie Mouse lately, so she may be Minnie but I haven't made my mind up...There are just SO many choices!!! lol
Aww, I so wanna do this! But Halloween is not a big thing here. The kiddies dont even go door to door anymore. On the otherhand, it is also DH's birthday that day so I might just do us 3 a special dinner and dress Zoe up for it - she'll be a little angel and I will wear a pair of horns!
Katelyn is going to be a fairy....and I really need to get on that because I'll never finish her wings if I don't get going on it.
I have no idea what AJ is going to be, but I've been debating on making a box to look like a train that would fit over him and have him wear his conductors hat.......
A lot of work though! We'll see.
Generally, I think the costumes they sell for older kids look so......cheap. And they're not!!
Im not sure! We can't really afford to buy costumes since most at at least 15+ bucks and we have 3 kids so it adds up. Not to mention we have had no money comming in since July 12, and have been living off the money earned during the season. Its getting pretty tight around here. I've been looking around on pinterest for some ideas.
