I've mentioned several times my never-ending cycle. I'm now on CD 175 now and had an appointment with my OB/GYN on Monday. She drew some blood to check my hormones, thyroid and blood levels. She also referred me to an endocrinologist. She wanted me to go on birth control but I refused. I asked for metformin but she said she would rather the endocrinologist manage my PCOS. So now I wait.
We are on the way being ready to try for #2. I have a dentist appointment set up to get my teeth cleaned and fixed and talk about my wisdom teeth. I have a primary care appointment set up to discuss my gall bladder.
I'm hoping to get into the endocrinologist soon and get on metformin. Hope that helps me lose some weight, I've gained 40 pounds in the last 10 months. 5 away from my per-pregnancy weight. Now I need to set up an appointment with a therapist to help with my depression.
I'm feeling hopeful. Hopeful that my body will start healing and cooperate with our family planning.

TTC 19 months, round 1 of clomid worked! 100 mg CD6-9
Great news! I hope you get in soon.
I took metformin for my pcos but stopped because the side effects were unbearable.
I found success in taking cinnamon, omega 3-6-9, vitex, eating low gi, & lots of cardio. That resulted in a 20 something lb weight loss & AF came right after. I got pregnant with Layla two weeks after that.
