Well here is the begining of a long but exciting road. I would LOVE to drop 83.5 lbs. that is my ultimate goal.
I will try and update this every couple days and at least once a week. I cant wait to see even the little results.

Today I will set my Short, medium, and long term goals....

My short term goal is to lose 10lbs (203.5lbs) by December 1st. Which I think I can do. I typically drop weight really easy at first.

My medium goal is to be down to 165 and a size 12 by March 8th 2009 for our trip to Hawaii! I want to actually feel okay about wearing a bathing suit!

My long term goal is to reach 130 lbs. Hopefully by this time next year I will be there. I want to be 130llbs. and about a size 6-8.

Ok...so I am going to post my measurements here just for inspiration here as well:

Taken today 1/06/09 @ 210lbs.
Weight/Measurements

Body Fat %-- 38.5% is what my scale says...
Body Fat in Pounds (or Kilograms if that is how you weigh)-- (210 * .385)=80.85
Lean Body Mass--129.15
Wrist--7 and 7/8 in.
Forearm-- 11 in.
Bicep--14 and 1/8 in.
Neck-- 15 and 1/2 in.
Chest--38in.
Bust--42 and 5/8 in.
Waist--36 and 6/8 in.
Lower Abdominal--46 in.
Hip--48in.
Thigh--28in.
Calf--17 and 1/2 in.

*I also went to the store and picked up a journal so I can start journaling my food and my exercise everyday! That way I have something to keep me accountable!! I need to get my butt in gear if I want to look good for Hawaii!

I dead set on following this now, even though it took me a month to really get started!! My goal weight is 160lbs. by March 8th! I know I can do it and I will work my butt off until I do!!! I think my main goal though is to have a lower abdomin measurement of about 40 and a hip measurement of like 42....that is my Hawaii goal anyways!!!

Just wanted to come cheer you on!

The journal is a great tool. I got tired of having several to go through so I made my own forms and put them in a notebook. I have 3 pages a day (daily calendar and to do list; nutrition log; and workout log); a section for my values, roles, and mission statement; a section for my goals and their steps to achievement; a section for my assessments; a section for my workout plans; and a section for my food exchange list. I put it all in a big binder (1 1/2 inch I think) and carry it everywhere with me so I can remember to log. It keeps me accountable to make sure I do what I say I'm going to do. I'm sure journaling will help you make your goals too!
