I'm Lee Ann (28) and I'm beginning this log in hopes that I will be able to keep it up-to-date! I weighed myself last night and the scale said 186.0 although I did have my sweats, shirt, bra, undies, and socks on.....so I'm going to say that I weigh 185. I want to get down to my weight when my husband and I were dating....which was 155 - 160.
I do really well on the scarsdale diet, but I always end up gaining the weight back because I have a bad sweet tooth and I just like to eat! I'm not a sedentary person, I'm always doing something, so I'm surprised that I've gained about 30 lbs in 3 years, but the truth is, I have. We don't eat fried food or very much fast food, but I guess all that mexican food has gone to my hips, buns, and this pooch of a stomach!
Matt (DH) and I are trying to conceive our first child and I want to be healthy for that reason also. Of course, there is the reason that my clothes are getting tighter. But I am really afraid of getting pregnant and hitting the 200 lb mark; I feel that if that does happen, I won't be able to lose it or it will be especially difficult. I'm going to start back on the scarsdale diet starting tomorrow. My caloric intake will be (hopefully) less than 1100 a day. I tend to get bored easily, but the hubby got me an iPOD for Christmas and I have enjoyed going for jogs and bringing it to the gym.
I wish myself luck and I hope to be able to look at this log in the next few months and see that I've accomplished my goal.
I can do it, only 25 lbs to go!!!
