starting weight: 202
Goal weight: 170
Motivation: because i want to be able to fit into my old clothes again, i want to be healthy for my daughter, i want to feel good about myself, i want to look good b4 i go visit my in-laws oversees
Diet wise: for now avoid junk food (cookies, cake, soda, juice, candies, etc.)

Starting weight: 17lbs over what I shoould be


Okay, so today is my first day as Valentine's day usually involves a whole lot of chocolate in this house. Trying to look on this whole thing as a way of life rather than a diet!

Beginning weight watchers this week and will be walking at least 30 mins a day. My first goal is the five pound mark so finger's crossed.

Hi Minhas!

It's 8.28am here at the moment and just checking in with you. What day do you want to set aside for weigh ins?

Today,my aim is not only to stay inside my weight watchers calorie allowance but also - no more eating at the computer! I think this is a big thing for me because I would mindlessly eat for the hour or more that I spend on the computer and am paying no attention to what I'm putting in my mouth.

DD is a little fussy and won't go to sleep
ummm how about sunday for weigh-ins?
yeah eating at the computer is hard to resist, i used to do that but now my hands are usually tied w/ DD so thats good

i didn't do any exercise today but i did drink about 90 oz water today
tomorrow i'm going to the gym and drink +90 oz water

Sunday is perfect.

Haven't made plans for lunch or dinner yet. I'm thinking of making a low calorie vegetable soup for lunch - I'm off work today so I need to fill up so that I'm not tempted to pick. I've gotten rid of all the chocolate in the house so at leaset that's not here to tempt me

Okay, so Monday didn't go too badly! Tuesday's plan:

Breakfast: Fruit salad with natural yogurt
Lunch: Vegetable soup with low fat bread
Dinner: Shepherd's pie
Snack: Toast and tea

Hope your day went really well

Monday:
went to the gym and did 3 miles total (cross ramp & treadmill)
75 oz of water


Tuesdays plan:
go to the gym and try to do 4 miles
+200 crunches
drink +90 oz of water


did u get ur treadmill yet?

how did tuesdays plan work out for u?

tuesday: did 3 miles (i couldn't make it to the 4th, 3.25 actually )
300 crunches
75 oz of water


wednesdays plan:
WATCH WHAT I EAT
do an exercise DVD for at least 45 min(i won't be able to go the gym tomorrow bcoz i don't have anyone to watch stephanie)
drink 90 oz water
300 crunches

You're putting me to shame with all your exercise I feel so lazy reading all that you've done! I'm just counting calories for now. Once Monday comes, I'll be hitting the treadmill big time.

thatz the whole point of the buddy system.... i just hope that it helps
wut kind of exercises do u like to do? yoga, pilates, cardio, etc...? i'm gonna be the one left behind once u get ur treadmill.

ur doing good w/ the calorie couting.....something that is veryyyy hard for me


wednesday
did the ty-bo exercise DVD (it was only 40 minutes long)
300 crunches
100 oz water
i think i did ok w/ wut i ate today


thrusdays plan:
do the exercise DVD
300 crunches
90 oz water
try to go for a walk even if its at the mall....

Well I'm waiting for my treadmill and have also ordered weights - for toning and more fat loss hopefully


Think I'm doing well with the calorie counting. Now if we could just combine your exercise and my calorie counting, we'd be doing amazing

i wish thats how the buddy system worked

thrusday:
did the dvd
walked about 1/2 mile i think
75 oz water

didn't do the crunches


friday's plan
go the gym (do 3 miles) or do the Dvd....i think there will be someone to watch her
300 crunches
90 oz water

i did nothing i was busy today and had a family matter that came up suddenly but now that i think about it i'm just making excuses and being lazy now, i was thinking of resting tomorrow i'll just cancel that and hopefully i'll be able to go the gym i only drink about 50 oz water i think

We all get days like that. Don't worry. I think by the end of today I will have gone over my calories but hopefully we'll both still see a change in the scales tomorrow

Okay so my eating was terrible today BUT I lost almost 2 and a half lbs this week I'm really delighted with that and hopefull I can do the same next week once I have my treadmill. How did you do?

YAY!!! Great Job i can't wait to see ur results next monday w/ the treadmill

saturday:
i went to the gym and did 4 miles (treadmill & elliptical)
about 70 oz water

sunday:
try to go the gym or do the DVD (but i think i'll be busy tomorrow)
i want to go to the gym so that i can weigh myself. the scale at the gym was showing 202 lbs when i started but i went on the scale at home today it showed 215 i knew all scales were different but that is a huge difference. so i think i'll go w/ the scale at the gym and later on buy a digital scale


i'm also starting on the 30 day shred w/ the other girls on here. want to join? i think 30DS is on youtube. i hope i can stick w/ it
