~I ran 5 miles in the wind today in 55 minutes! Yeah! Yesterday I just did a bit of stability ball work until I broke the ceiling light fixture trying to do a jumping move. Oops!

~I got in a 5K distance run in 35 minutes. Oh, well. I did work a full day before hurrying home to run thanks to the time change.

I feel a gain coming on at weigh in tomorrow since that's what the scale has been showing all week. I'm not sure why, but I guess that's life.

~3.33 mile run in a time I can't remember...either 34:26 or 33:26. I know I really busted butt though. I'm hoping it was the shorter amount of time.

~My 5K race!!!! I got done in 30:20, finishing 11th out of 29 overall and 2nd in my age group. I even got a medal! I might do some strength here in a bit too. I'm feeling motivated.

I have really slacked off on this, but I did want to update today (3/13/10) that I am about 156 pounds right now. That means I have lost about 45 pounds this past year. I was hoping to be to my goal weight by now, but the closer I get to it, the tougher it is. I guess when people say "the last ten pounds are the hardest", it's true. Mine are the last 20 pounds though.

I'm starting Jillian's 30 Day Slim Down on Monday. It looks pretty intense with rotations of 30 Day Shred, No More Trouble Zones, and Banish Fat/Boost Metabolism. I'll also be adding in my exercise club workouts (working out with co-workers after work...mostly WATP or outside walking) and adding in running too. I might throw in some Turbo Jam when I feel like it, but I'm going to try and get in all of the workouts exactly for this 30DSD plan. I've heard many people got nice bodily results (not necessarily weight lost). I'm looking to add more lean muscle though, so that will be fine for me.

Oh, my next 5K run is April 3. I am going to sign up for a 10K also, which is June 5. My LTG for this year is a half marathon in October around my alma mater's campus. I haven't been to Purdue in a long time, and I miss it sometimes. It'll be nice to run all over it and see the sights I used to love.

Finally, my DH is now on the fitness/weight loss bandwagon. He's been reading articles online about building muscle and uses the treadmill generally about 5-6x/week.

Well, off to take care of the kids.
