Day 1

Food/Calorie Log:
Bfast (0900): Weight control oatmeal / 160
Snack (1030): Yogurt / 80
Lunch (1200): Turkey sandwich & 100 cal doritos / 370
Snack (1330): Snickers / 280
Dinner (1800): Grilled chicken breast, peas & 1/2C rice with a T of gravy / 401
Total: 1291

Workout Log:
Morning: 20 mins calisthenics and 22 min walk/jog (1 mile)
Evening: Power 90 - Sculpt - 29 mins

Today was ok. As you can see from my food log I had one weak moment. My old supervisor is moving and she brought this awesome candy bouquet to work and made everyone pick something out of it. I would have felt terrible if I didn't join in. But I think I feel worse knowing I was so weak. If they truly care they would understand if I didn't eat anything. But once again, there I go putting other people before me. Blah...back on the saddle tomorrow!

Workout Log:
Walked 30 mins around neighborhood (about 3MPH)
Power 90 - Cardio and Ab Ripper - 35 mins

Today was a MUCH better day!! I didn't cheat, I kept to my diet, and I was actually really motivated to work out today!! Hopefully I can keep this positive attitude around for the long haul. I have 10LBS to lose by 1 Nov!

Walked on treadmill - 30 mins

Today I am a little sore. I've really been pushing myself to really work hard at my goal. I've noticed lately that I'm not craving junk foods like I thought I would be. Maybe things have really finally clicked up there in my crazy head. And even though I'm only eating between 1100-1300 calories a day I'm feeling very full.

FOR REFERENCE: Body fat today in Bod Pod was 48.8%

Good luck!!! Make sure you are eating enough calories. If you are staying pretty active and at your wieght 1200 may not be enough, which will backfire on you and cause you to not lose weight.

Walked 5 mins, alternated walking and running for 1 min for 20 mins and then a 5 min cool down - 30 Mins
Power 90 - Sculpt - 28 Mins

Today was another pretty good day! I'm starting to notice that even though I'm pretty sore (which makes me NOT want to work out) that once I start working out, I feel great! I'm not wanting to quit while I do my run/walk and getting alot more focused during Power 90. I'm proud of myself for keeping the determination! Only bad side here is.....AF IS HERE! Boo! It's my first PP AF and I've been wondering when she would show. It just HAD to be the day before my first big weigh-in. She sucks! LOL But on a good side. The scale did say 204.4 this morning which is down 4.2LBS since I started eating right on Monday! Let's pray for those last 14oz to disappear today!

Today is "cheat" day. What that means for me is that I can eat what I want today, but watch my portion control. I'm not going to risk going buck-wild and losing all the hard work I've accomplished this week!!

Rest Day

I SURVIVED THE FIRST WEEK!! Today was my first official weigh-in! I'm down 4.4lbs which is AWESOME! I was hoping for 5 since my first mini-goal is 10lbs by the first but thats ok because I'm kicking up my running program this week so I'll be jogging more than walking which will help burn more calories. I'm a little disappointed that I went over my calories today (only by 76) but tomorrow is my biggest calorie burn day because I have organized PT in the morning where we do about 20 mins of calisthenics and then I go run for 30 minutesand then at night at home we are doing Power 90.

On to week 2!!
