Quick Stats!
10/17/09 - 207LBS Starting Weight!
10/18/09- Start of new diet plan, I am keeping at or below 1600 calories until adjustment is needed.

So is the story of my life, I'll probably battle with my weight forever but this is definately my rock bottom. I've never been this big in my life!
My only goal is to stick with my eating plan.. weight wise I'd be happy at 150.. but medically I'd probably fare better at 130 or less!

I need to do this for my health.. I can't keep getting bigger.. If I stay this way I know I'll die from it. That's not fair to myself or my daughter

207lbs at 5 feet tall

Day 1!

Started out rough! I felt SO deprived but ended up under goal!
By 8pm I was only at 1,015 calories and full. I ate a 280 cal dinner so I didn't wake up hungry or something (which I've been known to do)

So today's grand total is: 1,295

I stocked up on low calorie lunches and dinners. I feel like I can do this now!

Great job for coming in under calories!! I will start a new post each day and keep a running tab of my food/caloric intake and my workouts...

We are definitely starting out at about the same weight...so I will be keeping an eye on you too!!

I'll update this through out the day but..
I weighed myself this morning and I am at 202.4
I am not taking it as an official weight because I know weight can fluctuate a lot and I haven't even been dieting a week lol
But it was a relief to see that instead of 207! I am going to weigh myself officially every Sunday to check on progress..

Grand calorie total: 1,515!

I actually was way below goal at around bedtime so I had a glass of milk and some soy chocolate ice cream to get me to 1,515!

Day 3!
Not an offical weight but weighed myself in my clients bathroom and her scale said 200lbs! We'll see what sunday's weigh in brings!

Going so so today. I had a 100 calorie banana for breakfast. By the time I got off work at 12 I was STARVING and I had errands to run, so I got what I thought was a 600 calorie meal at a fast food joint. (I have counted calories before).. My memory served me right but I got the wrong kind of sandwich so it turned out to be an 800 calorie meal!

So that puts me at 900 calories at 2pm. I have 700 calories left for the day!

After my nap I am going to write out weight goals. I think weight goals by a certain date will really keep me motivated!

I'll update later with goals and total calorie count for the day.

^^ Thanks for the well wishes ;-)

So today marks my first WEEK! I am down 5.6lbs which puts me at 201.4 today.
My goal for 10/31 was 195 but I think that might be pushing it.
So my goal for 11/1 is 197

I think at this weight it's reasonable to lose 4lbs or more in a week because my BMI is so high. I know from past experience the weight always drops faster the heavier I am and it starts to slow the more my BMI drops.


So far today I am at 1,270. I am going to use the rest of my calories up on some strawberry shortcake I bought from Trader Joes ;-)

Wee! I am 199.8 this morning I won't update my ticker yet, although it's TEMPTING ME! 2.8lbs to go until I reach my first 10 pound loss!
I can't WAIT to get the 187.. I think 187 will be my first "treat".. 187 is calling my name.............!!! Hmm 187 by thanksgiving?? Realistic?? We'll see...

Sadly though, I haven't been doing hardly any excercise but I am ok with that right now. I am kind of scared to go back to dancing because that's when I put on all the weight. I am going to keep doing what I am doing as long as it's working and eventually add in some weight training and good cardio.
