I thought since I'm starting two new programs this week that it'd be easier just to start a new journal. I'm starting ChaLean Extreme and training for a half marathon on August 2. The half marathon is October 24.

August 2: ChaLean Burn Circuit 1 and 3 mile treadmill jog (the latter was pretty hard after the former)
August 3: not feeling well, so no schedule 2 mile run
August 4: ChaLean Burn Circuit 2, didn't make up the 2 mile run today (headache, etc.)--will try to make it up Friday
Week 1 done! It's a rest day today. I am pretty sore, but the Recharge yesterday seems to have helped with that some.
August 5: Burn Intervals (hard!) and Ab Burner
August 6: Burn Circuit 3
August 7: 3 mile run, Burn It Off, Recharge, and cleaned the house
I am not going to be running a half marathon also. There were some problems with the race, and so even if it does happen, it's not going to be what was advertised. Instead, I'm making a monthly mileage goal each month. I want to get to my goal of 350 miles by the end of the year. I am planning 40 miles this month, 47 next month, then 49 after that.
Haven't checked in for a while, but today's the end of phase 1 of CLX. Going to repost my beginning measurements with my month's end measurements. Not too much of a change, but DH says he can tell a difference.
