4/28: Today was my first day of the 30 Day Shred. I of course started off with level 1. The cardio was the hardest part for me. I tried to push through as much as possible but I started getting winded by the last 30 seconds of cardio and would have to walk it out a little bit to catch my breath. I feel really good after the workout. There was a point in the workout where I thought I was going to pass out after I got up off the floor from the ab workouts. I may need to really watch myself there. I kept my inhaler near the tv just in case, but thankfully I didn't need it. I ended the workout sweating pretty good. Overall, it was a good workout!!! I'm hoping this will get me ready for Insanity (yep...I said it!).

5/3: I've incorporated Jillian's 6 week 6 pack into my workout routine, so I did that workout today.I had to take a couple of small breaks, and I can't do her half plank crunches that she does (it hurts my wrists to do that) so I just do regular crunches during that because I want to keep myself moving and my abs engaged. I also went to GNC and got some supplements along with some protein powder to use as a meal supplement/recovery formula. I had the chocolate one today and I have to say, stirring it with a spoon did not work. I'm going to have to bring out my blender! LOL. But, it tasted good. Not so much like chalk like I was fearing. (BTW, it's Gold Card Week at GNC. In case you have one,you should go and stock up!!)
