This is my first post in this journal, also my first real day of being serious about weightloss.

I just suffered my 4th miscarriage since 1996. We are devastated but are determined to become parents once again. I have 3 beautiful children but both Scott's & mine's dream is to have a houseful of kids.

I am on 1000mg of metformin a day for PCOS. Even with the miscarriage, I did find out something good. Just from watching what I was eating during the short time of this pregnancy and drinking more water, I lost 7 lbs. With doing that, I know it is possible to lose more.
I am hoping that losing weight, it will help with our TTC.

My plan for losing weight is to eat better, drink more water, exercise a little more and stop pigging out on the junk food.

Today for breakfast I had 2 waffles with sugar free syrup and a glass of 2% milk.

For lunch I had a Michelina (sp?) microwave dinner of Santa Fe beans & rice with a salad with Italian dressing

For dinner I had chicken, couscous, salad with Ranch dressing and lowfat cottage cheese.

As a snack after dinner, I did have a small bowl of cookies -n-cream ice cream.

I didn't really exercise today, though I did work up quite a sweat cleaning and the air was on. I won't get the chance to exercise tomorrow because Scott is working 24 hours but on Monday we are planning on taking the kids to the nature preserve right by my house so we can walk. Another reason is because I want to take some pictures of the beautiful landscape for my portfolio.

I took my metformin today, as usual.
