Sept. 5/05

Current Weight:262
Goal Weight:160 (somewhere in the far distant future )

I am going to try (key word being try) the SB diet. This will be hard for me. I think though that I can do this one more than others because I suck at counting and keeping track of amounts. Knowing what I can have and can't have, in what amounts sounds easier. So we'll see.

About Me:

10 yrs ago when dh and I first met I weighed 180 lbs. I was still overweight but quite happy with myself. Gained 29lbs with first pregnancy and kept it all on, gained 22lbs with second pregnancy and kept it all on. Plus added a whole bunch of extra weight on my own. Going in to my third pregnancy I weighed 270lbs. I actually lost this time - 18lbs, while pregnant. I gained it all but 2 lbs back on my due date. After having Olivia I lost 30 lbs. Yep, I was down to 240 lbs. But life happened and watching my weight with a new baby that had an erratic sleep schedule wasn't happening. I actually bought myself a pair of jeans a size smaller.

Well, after gaining almost all of it back, I've decided not to. So here I am.

Well, I forgot weigh in this morning. It was 1st day back to school for my oldest and ds 1st day, so I kinda forgot. I did just go weigh myself and it says I'm down 2 lbs. Not sure if weighing in the morning is different than the afternoon but I'll -2 lbs any day.

So far I've been 1/2 and 1/2 with the SB diet. I'm thinking I'll have to start with phase 2. We went shopping and I couldn't remember what I could or should buy, so I'm going to print the list to help me.

Well, this just sucks!

I haven't been on here since Sept. and I come to find out my starting weight is only 2lbs more than what I am now. Gosh, I had no idea I went up so much.

The SB diet did not work for me. Fell off the wagon...probably the reason I haven't been back her.

I am back though. Not so much "dieting" as eating less and walking.

So here is another go at it.

I have started taking the one a day weight smart vitamin. Heard it has help some women, figured I'd give it a try.

Haven't done too much walking, it's been super busy at work (no excuse, I know). We are done now though, so time to get busy.

I am totally disgusted with myself. I have no motivation.

so here I am at 161.6 and going to try it again!

Well, I'm still here..lol

I have yet to start an exercise schedule with my exercise ball. It is in my plans. The kids have only been back to school 2 days and we've been on the road the last 2 days, now I'm going to Mom's for a sleepover with the kids....eating healthy though!! Drinking my water.

Well, I am still at the same weight. I can't seem to get past 261, I just want to start seeing some 5's even if it's 259. It's depressing.


I want to do healthy living as apposed to a diet, I think I would have a harder time leaving stuff out rather than eating less.

so we'll see

Well, I had a bowl of chip last night..not good but I did drink an extra bottle of water, so that's good.

I woke up this morning, not as hungry as usual and no snacks in between breakfast and dinner!!

Two weeks later and I'm still here...hoorah!!

I am happy to say I have lost 8.8lbs...never thought I'd see the day! Seeing 252.6 is soooooooooo much better than 261.4

I am so super siked!

dh is being a big help, he is so supportive..yay!

I don't want to jinx myself but this time around seems to be going sooo much better...can't quite say easier but definately something I can stick with.

I think it's helping I just don't know how much. It's the first vitamin I've actual took.

I'm definately doing better taking it then when I wasn't.

My last weigh in has me as a big ol' loser of 10.2 lbs
I am really excited. Seems kinda sureal to me still. I feel like the 10lbs was a fluke and I'll probably go back up.

I of course can't wait til Friday for another weigh in.
The healthy eating lifestyle change, is great. Seems to have come to me rather easily, which is a surprise.

Well, after a week of exercise I hit a weightloss plateau. I didn't lose any weight but I seem to have lost inches. I no longer have my size 22's in my drawer, so that puts me down to 2 pr of pants--size 21.

on the weekend I bought a pr of 20's and they fit the same as the 21's. I can pull them down without unbuttoning. Since I can't afford a new wardrobe (well pants) with every 10lbs (even though it's taking awhile), I'm going to buy a belt.

I don't mind the plateau as long as the inches are going down!

I can't wait to get going this week. I am really enjoying the healthy eating and exercising surprisingly enough.

dh dug my TM out, so I might try that later (probably 5 min. if I can make it that long).

I am proud of myself to have gotten as far as I have and dh is so great. Great support for sure.

oh, and my niece commented on my weightloss yesterday. What a motivational boost!

I dont really consider it a plateau until youve went a month or more with no inches lost or no weight loss.. your body is probably just catching up to the changes(losing 10 pounds).. You may want to increase your water intake if you arent drinking at least 130 oz per day(take your weight divide it by 2) That actually helps more than you realize.. I wish I would have dropped pants sizes like you have.. Ive lost nearly 20 pounds and my pants are getting a bit loser but not enough to really notice.. Good luck on the TM today !! Remember if you do 5 and you feel that you can push yourself for another 2 minutes or however long without hurting yourself do it!!!

130oz would be almost 8 of my water bottles and there is no way I can drink that much. (actually I'm down to 125 oz).
I try to drink water all day, I have a bottle with me but can only manage about 5 a day, I have made it to 6 a couple of times but I end up drinking til almost bedtime and then I'm running to the bathroom all the time and I have a slight physical problem (when it comes to that). I do try however.

I weighed in today! Down 3lbs. I'm really excited. I still can't believe I'm losing..seems surreal. I don't know when it'll sink it.

I'm still so nervous about waking one morning and it being all back on.

I'm 248.2...I'm in the 40's!!!!!

I keep forgetting this is here!

I have hit my 20lb weightloss mark!! I am now 241lbs. I'm super excited to be nearing the 230's. I don't think I will this week. I have been really slack.

Got to get back into the groove!

Yeahhhhhhhhhh !!!!! 230 here you come !!!! I bet you before the end of April you will be down to the 230's.. Once I hit 190 my next big deal goal will be 175 pounds.. I swear I cant wait to step on that scale and see it say 175.. I really want to hit that one by my weigh and measure at curves in May.. So I have roughly 2 months to lose 20 more pounds.. So 20 pounds for you would put you at 221 lets call it 220.. Come on.. Do it with me.. 20 pounds by May 16th(my w/m at curves). Totally do able.. We can do it !!!!!!
