Had a good week. Been using MFP for two weeks now. Logging food makes such a difference! Makes me so much more aware of my portions as well as what I decide to eat. Wish I had been doing this sooner- would have been so helpful!

Exercise is going great, did a lot of strength training this week so won't be surprised if I don't loose any on the scale this week. In another week Lucy will be 2 months old and I will do my measurements again. THEN I'll know how I'm really doing.

Finishing p90x week one w/ stretching today. might go for a walk, too. I completely skipped one day on Daniel's birthday, but not going to regret it.. went to park instead

I weighed 195 yesterday... weight has been going up and down between about 195 and 197 for a long time. it's a little frustrating b/c I feel like I'm doing pretty well. I've stopped logging food, though... it's just so time consuming to try to measure and record everything at every meal. makes me a little obssessive, too. but, maybe I should go back to it, because it is also helpful in a way.

Ready to stretch and then rest for Week Two starting tomorrow.

week 5, done after the stretch today. my body is so sore! I weighed in at 193.6 this morning. I really have to clean up my act w/ my diet or I'm not going to see any progress as far as fat loss. I do okay at home, work is a nightmare. I work this afternoon. My goal is to do better TODAY, one hour at a time if I have to. I will decide ahead of time what I will allow myself to eat for dinner, and then I will eat NOTHING ELSE. It's only six and a half hours. I can do this.

End of Phase II measurements:

weight: 194.8
bust: 36"
waist: 35"
low ab: 38"
hips: 42"

body fat % (estimate): 33.9%

Ugh, I'm not happy with that at all. Phase 3 is actually 5 weeks- 4 weeks routine plus one recovery week. I hope I can really tackle my diet- that's my weakness.

I just finished Day 89 of P90X. Tomorrow (day 90) is rest or stretch, so I'm calling it done. I'm so pleased that I stuck with it, even though I was tempted to give it up so many times. I had to do some rearranging of the routines and some substituting here and there... BUT I did it!

My total workout minutes for the year: 14,228 minutes for the walking equivalent of 948.5 miles. I'll be taking my yearly measurements and doing the fit test on Sunday, after I take it easy tomorrow. I'm feeling really good about this right now.

yesterday I weighed in at 188.2 Could I possibly out of the 190's? We'll see!

In the meantime, I'm doing better at not eating quite so poorly at work, but that sure means I'm hungry when I get home. That's okay, b/c I really think eating my own food at home later in the day will do me better than eating junk @ a normal time.

I'm keeping up on exercise- my "routine" for January is basically "cardio, yoga, cardio, strength training" and I'll throw a rest day in here and there. But I haven't been feeling well the last few days, not sure if I'm doing much good but at least I'm doing something!

Just looked back over some of my old posts. I've really come a long way! Since the beginning of this journal I've lost a total of 29 pounds, and I've had another baby in the meantime. That makes me so proud of myself, and it is good motivation to continue making improvements!

I'm really not having a good weekend. Today I started a new workout, some of the boys wanted to join me so they were in the way but I was TRYING to be nice and let them do it with me. Then I accidentally smacked Mary in the face b/c she got too close to me, that made me feel bad. Then Chuck told all the kids to go out, which made me feel like a real ***, and then the baby started crying. I have to go to work this afternoon, so I just gave up. I'm sick of trying to get "my" time when it just doesn't work. I don't like feeling like I have to be a ***** and tell everybody to just leave me alone. I don't like having to do this in the living room b/c there is no other place with enough room. Days like this make me want to just give up.
