On Tuesday we went to the OB and I was only at 4cm. She decided to sweep my membranes and stretch me to 5cm. We walked to dinner and had spicy food and I had NO contractions. On Wednesday, I was still not having regular contractions but was having a lot of spotting so I called my OB office. They sent me to L & D to be monitored. When they checked me, I was only at 5cm and my contractions were not regular or strong enough so they sent me home. I was beyond frustrated. My sister and dad had cleared their schedules for the week, but to no avail; no contractions. I wanted them to induce me because I knew how big Hudson was measuring and I never had contractions with Lilly so I knew how my body operated when it came to labor. My water just breaks with no warning.

Thursday morning I took Lilly to her Moms morning out and I went to the gym. I walked three miles at the gym and then went food shopping. When I got Lilly home and feed I was still not having contractions. I decided to start folding laundry when I heard a POP. Then all of a sudden I felt the water. With Lilly my water broke, but I did not have any contractions. We were able to pack, take the dog to the kennel and still not have a baby for another 12 hours. This was not the case! I called Luke at 1:45pm and told him my water broke and my contractions were about 4 minutes apart. I was home with Lilly so I called our friend Jill to come and meet us close to our house. By the time Luke got home from Providence Park (4 minutes away) and we got Lilly loaded in the car my contractions were 3 minutes apart and very painful. We dropped Lilly with our friend in the parking lot and RACED to Providence Park, I think there was a red light ran somewhere on the way. Luke dropped me at the front of the hospital and my contractions were 2 minutes apart. I raced up stairs and they were waiting for me. Luke had called the floor and let them know I was coming. By the time they got me registered and my IV in; my contractions were about a minute and a half apart. They sent for the epidural immediately, but as they sat me up to put the epidural into my back my contractions started to get more intense (if that was possible). I started to feel like I had to push, and was getting no relief from the epidural. They continued with the epidural and paged the OB. She came up and in the minutes from registration to IV, I had gone from 5 cm to 10! The epidural never had time to take effect and less than fifteen minutes later Hudson was here. I have never in my life felt pain like that, or ever screamed as loud as I did. At one point the OB yelled at me that I was going to have to calm down. I shouted right back at her that I would calm down, when she got him out. Hudson's head was over 14 inches and I had to be cut with no pain meds!!! I am so glad that God was watching over us and Hudson came out fast

They sent me home from the hospital about 26 hours after Hudson was born. My total labor from water breaking to birth was less than an hour and twenty minutes. Again, God works in mysterious ways and thankfully Luke was working at Providence Park (on the OB floor) this week. If he had been in Southfield were he normally is (30 minutes away), I would have been having Hudson at home alone with Lilly. Hudson is a little bit jaundiced and I am pretty sore, but all and all we are going great. He is a bit of a night owl and likes to sleep during the day. We are so in love with our little man and Lilly adores her little brother. My Dad and sister flew up Friday morning and go home on Monday afternoon. Luke was able to continue to finish his week at Providence Park on Friday, bouncing back and forth from my room to other patients. He was scheduled to work a 24 hour call today but his attending sent him home when he got there and looked like he has JUST worked a 24 hour shift. He will take Monday off, but have to go back to work on Tuesday. I just wanted to say thank you for all the prayers and support you all have given me throughout this pregnancy.

We aren't to give a baby milk, berries, or peanut butter. We are to introduce new foods one at a time. But it's OK to inject several viruses, bacteria, aluminum, formaldehyde, phenoxyethanol, animal serum, mercury, squalene and more into an 8 week old? I don't think so.
In order to be healthy it is an unfortunate fact that people must be allowed the opportunity to be ill. I trust my body and those of my children to work correctly against the relatively benign diseases they vax for, and do not trust the ingredients in the vaccinations.
Our choice to not vax isn't based in ignorance, poverty, conspiracy theory and rumor. It's research, common sense, fact and evidence based..something the medical community has largely forgot about.
