Sorry it took forever for me to write her birth story on here...its been hectic! We were discharged Saturday and I have just been getting adjusted to having 2 kiddo's to watch over...Eric has been really helpful and Jr has been so great, he just loves his baby sister!
My induction went really smooth, started the pitocin around 8:30 AM Thursday morning, had my epidural around 10:30 AM and then was checked at 11 AM and was 4 cm 80% effaced...they checked me again around 12 and I was 6 cm almost 7 and -2 station...my nurse flipped me on to my right side and within minutes I felt an enormous amount of pressure and pain in that area...so we tried giving me a shot of my epidural to see if that helped thinking maybe it was just pressure and pain from a contraction...but I kept telling her that it just didnt feel like that, it felt like she was right there, but we waited for the 25 min it would take for the epidural shot to take effect...once that passed she decided that she was going to check again and at 12:40 I was 9 cm and at 0 station so we started to practice push, did about 4 sets of 3 pushes and bam she was right there...so we waited for the doc and at 2:13 PM Hailey Marie graced us with her presence at a whoppin 7 lbs 1 oz and 19.5" which is pretty much what Jr was! CRAZY!!! We brought Jr into the room with just us and he was so excited, immediately asked to hold her which was so cute! I loved every minute of my birth experience, I had the perfect nurse and was just super lucky! I am so glad she is here...but she is quite a little stinker LITERALLY...HAHA...she has some stinky gas right now, still trying to figure out what is causing that, she had some good bowel movements in the hospital but when we got home she didnt go...up until yesterday afternoon so hopefully its working itself out b/c right now Mama is getting stink bombed during feedings and its not like I can run! HAHA! Here are some pics...
