Gonna try and make this fast since he's sleeping on a pillow on my lap!

Got to the hospital 11/28 at 11am for my induction. I was already 75% effaced and 4cm dilated. Pitocin started at 12:30 and I expected things to take off since it's my 3rd baby. Nope! After 4 hours, no cervical change. Only strong, regular BH contrax that weren't exactly painful. Midwife comes in at 4:30 and breaks my water. She leaves the room with a "wait and see" approach. I wasn't exactly optimistic either. Well, the next 45 minutes was absolutely agonizing. I started to have contrax every 2 mins that were excruciating. I couldn't take it anymore after about 1/2 hour so I got up to use the bathroom. I sat on the toilet and peed, then a massive contraction hit me. I swear to god it was so bad, I couldn't even breathe through it. I yelled for DH to get the nurse because I felt hot, then cold, then nauseous, then like I was going to faint. Nurse comes in and helps me off the toilet. I'm yelling at this point. She said she's going to get the midwife to check me because I may be in transition. The second she gets me on my feet, I feel the urge to push, then his head crown. I could barely walk so they had to literally push me onto the delivery bed. I sort of collaped onto my back and just as my midwife got on her gloves, his head came out. Cord was around the neck so I had to refrain from pushing, which was nearly impossible. Once she cut the cord he slid the rest of the way out at 5:18pm. I looked down and couldn't believe what had just happened! I was just 4cm 45 minutes ago. He weighed 7lbs 11oz and was 20 in long. Apgars were 9 and 9. Bilirubin was at a 7.2 when we left the hospital, which is great. He's quite the spitter though, and may have reflux. He's trying to get the hang of nursing and so far is latching on quite good.

Wow, that's crazy how quickly you went from 4cm to him coming out! Glad it all turned out well in the end, but it must have been quite scary! I hope the reflux issue is resolved soon. And I hope you share some photos too!
