I was at the post office and my son was acting crazy and running around. UGH. I was trying to calm him down and the elderly lady behind me was laughing. I looked at her and she said 'Oh just wait til THAT one gets here!' and pointed at my stomach! I must have looked shocked as all hell caz she froze and said 'you know you are pregnant right?' either im fatter than i thought or this chick must have REALLY good intuition!!! the same thing happened with my son. when i was only like 6-7 pregnant a REALLY old chinese guy stopped me while i was working in walmart and while smiling real big said 'you are going to have a boy!' I had not even told my co-workers yet so i played it off like he was crazy but sure enough i had a boy lol. so im now wishing i had asked the lady what she thought i was going to have!!!
When I first found out I was pregnant with my oldest daughter, I was about 6 weeks along and was at a get together and this old man came up to me and grabbed my hand and looked at it and told me I was gonna have a girl!!
wow! that IS crazy! yesterday two different people asked me if i was pregnant... one doesn't count because he's a good friend and he's always teasing and asking... but the other one i hadn't even seen! he asked DH if i was pregnant! i think DH got flustered and told him no (we haven't even told our own families yet!). i know i'm bloated but i *think* i've been masking it well with layers and my jacket, etc.

p.s. OT but... one that really blew me away... five or six years ago i was in a grocery store (i didn't have anything in my basket yet) and a buddhist monk stopped me and said (not asked) "you're a vegetarian." i am. he said that he knew because i didn't emanate rotting flesh (eeew i know that sounds disgusting). but it was SO bizarre.

I think it's so cool how some people have an intuition for that kind of thing.
Before I told my mom that I was pregnant (and before *I* even knew I was pregnant), my mom's husband's mother (who lives with them), kept telling my mom that she was dreaming that I was pregnant.
Oh yeah. Some people are really tuned in. I don't know how or why. But it seems some have a bead on things that I can't explain. I got told about a week BEFORE I found out I was expecting Liam by an older lady that my baby was a miracle. I sorta looked at her strange, given I did not even have Julia with me. She didn't say anything else, just that it was a miracle.
And after that, I was really unsettled and took a test. Negative. A week later it was positive. And just early this year, we found out he made it despite a blood condition that killed many after him. So I really do believe in "otherworldly" abilities. And I do know my son is a miracle now.
Maybe stalk the post office for a couple days?? Lol. See if she shows back up. That is quite strange. But I don't doubt she knew.
That's hilarious! My husband told me before I even got negative tests based on my sudden pickle fetish (which only appears during early pregnancy -- I don't like pickles!), but nobody else has ever told me that before.

Romans 8:38, the Bible
When I got pregnant with DD#1, I called my SIL (also best friend) to tell her right away. She told me her mom had recently dreamt I was pregnant and had a baby girl and she looked just like DH. Which is exactly what happened.
That's amazing!
My mother and best friend were having dreams about me being pregnant in either December or early January. I guess you would consider that a premonition since I wasn't pregnant yet(and wasn't trying).
My hubby works at a gym and there have been two people now that have mentioned his "pregnant wife". I think he was so shocked he didn't deny it (even though we haven't officially told the world). It was strange because theses were men telling him without seeing me? I wonder if he exuded some sort of future father vibe? lol.
Other than my DF telling me that I am showing through my peacoat, no one has said anything about me being or looking pregnant. I kinda am looking forward to someone noticing.
